Yup had my BPI credit card for more than 15yrs I think & my credit limit isn't that high. I think Dr. D is right, they probably base the increase of the credit limit to those who use their card often or those big spenders.

Nina, you better call them. Kung 12 years na yan. Kahit 20% lang annually increase mo kung nag start ka ng 100k Dapat lagpas na sa credit limit mo Cath bpi cc mo. Progression dapat, at least every year nag increase dapat sila.

Do they normally increase annually? I had my HSBC cc since 2004 and my limit was the same until 2012 when they increased it around 50% (after I used my cc to charge my treadmill) Since then my limit has stayed the same.

My BPI cc is regular (blue) so I thought that was normal for those with payroll or savings account.

Do they normally increase annually? I had my HSBC cc since 2004 and my limit was the same until 2012 when they increased it around 50% (after I used my cc to charge my treadmill) Since then my limit has stayed the same.

My BPI cc is regular (blue) so I thought that was normal for those with payroll or savings account.

Baka for HNW clients lang like you. Credit limit ko sa HSBC 13 yrs, once lang nag increase. BPI ko once din lang. AMEX ko never [emoji14]

No. It's a progrssion. Bank trust you na for being a long time card holder. So they want to keep you and get tour money. So every year yan nag increase.

No. Sakin basta lang nila tinaasan. Citibank ko pina cut ko kasi hirap magbayad. Wala naman kasi ako account with CT (taas ng maintaining balance nila for regular accounts)

di ko kasi masyado ito ginagamit noon. mas gamit yung metrobank ko, kaya mas OK credit limit nun.
yun bpi start nito is 10k limit lang, kasi wala daw sila tiwala sa tagal call center hehehe
pang gas ko lang talaga, uber or kain (nun wala pa auto), kaya satisfied ako sa 10k limit (2014 nagismula dagdagan); ngayon 57k na maski 4-8k lang gastos ko sa gas.
ayaw ko narin mag request ng increase sa bpi, may iba naman cards na OK ang limit pang emergency or pang sale lol
btw inayawan ko rin yung increase na offer ng metrobank from 200k noon 2010 to 1m kasi di ko naman kaya gumastos ng ganun kalaki; tapos i-upgrade daw card. di na ang mahal ng annual fee. pano kung di ko mapa-waive lugi hehehe

sweldo ko nung 2005, wala pa 18k; malayong malayo sa sideline ko
next time, matapos ko bayaran yun mga installments sa metrobank ko; itong bpi gawin ko main card, then yung citibank.

BDO card ko naman, binigay lang nung 2012 (I think dahil andun savings ko?) Then 15-20% increase ng limit every start of the year. Bigla din nagjajump higher the month after a big purchase.

Normal ba na walang advise na tinataasan yung credit limit? Nakikita ko na lang sa billing eh.

Di rin naman ako magastos with my card so it's okay. Parang bragging rights lang yung mataas na limit.

The alimango I ate had so much aligue!!! Naging orange yung rice ko :P I can feel my mouth starting to itch, I think mamamaga na to in a while, but at least I am happy Binibigay sakin lalaking alimango, buti na lang marunong ako tumingin ng baklang alimango They also gave us a good price, I think P400 per kilo. I told my Mom I want to go back to dampa and buy some more alimango.
