I was telling the nurse that I can probably do a stretch of the 220 less age target ..

I'm in my early 50's and I can still jog ~3 miles (4.8 km) on the treadmill. I still play basketball in the gym although I only play half-court nowadays. Full-court games are now hard on my knees. I quit playing soccer. But, I still juggle the ball just for fun.

You need to be closely examined by your physician who can recommend a target heart rate and how long to maintain it.

wow,, you're a tank with that age.
i used to play badminton until i have this staggering pain with my right forearm the moment i smash. lifting a 1lb dumbbell with my forearm in parallel with the table would be a pain either.
x-ray shows negative results though, with on and off therapy for almost a year made it better but i never returned with the badminton since.
too bad that i haven't that much activity nowadays. i just opt for the stairs(3~4 plights)as much as i could instead of the lift.
yes it's an alibi for being busy, yet i would accept if you will call me just too lazy

i just avoid doing heavy things with my arm, and it disappeared for almost a year nga lang. but i know and felt it that it would return if i did something stupid with my arm.
