*GS, you better consider the time it's taking. If you're seriously bent on racing, a lot of other people have taken that first step of getting into the car on the track with much less fanfare (walk the talk). I've taken my effing bone stock diesel Nissan Frontier on SIR before and it was respectable enough for the guys to try encourage me to try running it on bracket D of RWYB before (i did not push through though). I've also seen guys spend so much and talk even more on "race prepping" their cars only to crash it the first time they set foot on a track.

I recall reading about that K swap of GS on PEX as well. I think when i first read about that, my youngest kid wasn't even born yet... she'll be grade one next school year.

On a related note, we recently renovated at our floor and some of my co-unit heads were making such a big fuss about getting new tables, chairs, etc. for themselves. I on the other hand just asked for one of the older tables to be discarded as i just needed a bigger table, and they all raised their eyebrows and gave me the WTF look, at my request. To make a long, winding story short (one that included fights over aircon, photocopier and water dispenser placements, storage space allocation, etc), the boss denied their request for the new furniture. One day he went to me at my office to see the renovation work and workflow rearrangements i made, and he saw the old desk i was happily using... and promptly told me to order a new set (and i added a new laptop on top of it too).
