napaka rare maka hanap ng matino gumagawa ng aircon, yong nga toyota mo sa casa na, niloko ka pa...

yan pa naman pinaka malala sa aircon pag nag leak, moisture from leak plus refrigerant = corrosion!

Does that mean I need to buy a new aircon?

Hi Cath. I can recommend my Aircon technician. They service everywhere kahit malayo pa. Hehe
Maayos kausap at di nanloloko ng customer. He service also our Church's aircon units for around 5 years na.

Yung AC ng parents ko more than 20 years old na umaandar pa. Yung akin 16 pa lang hehehe. Plus it was working fine, palagay ko tama si Stockengine na may tinamaan sila when they cleaned it. Hassle pa kasi malaki yung aircon ko, yung bagong mga AC maliliit kaya aayusin pa yung butas. Haaayyyyyy.

old aircons have normally corroded cooling tubes. it takes just a little nudge, to create a hole. i won't blame the technician.

My guess,nabasa yung transformer nung aircon after they cleaned it.

Its a quick fix lang naman. A 16 year old aircon does.not have major electronics and is easy to service.

Wala naman daw problema! I keep on saying asan yung thermometer. Okay naman daw. I said that is a huge aircon for a small room bakit 30 mins na hindi pa rin malamig. Sa tapat daw niya malamig. MALAMANG!!! I was expecting this kind of sh1t from them!

Tapos ask them ano reading sa gauge manifold.

Kung wala sila gauge or thermometer, send them away without paying until they properly diagnose the AC.

Yung "malamig naman" at "giniginaw kami" is tantamount to butt-dyno sa mga ricers

malaki aircon mo, so i guess window type yan, wala service ports yan para sa refrigerant...

pumunta technician at malamig naman daw pero wala termometer na dala, wag mo na pabalikin yan, baka pag nakawan lang kayo nyan, lalo na halata wala alam ang may ari sa aircon...

ang guess ko dyan, guess lang naman kase di ko naman nakikita, nag yeyelo ang unit, malamig sa una pero pag nag tagal mag yelo kaya pag papawisan ka talaga, baket nag yeyelo, either barado/madumi ang evaporator or mababa ang level ng refrigerant at kung window type nga yan, wala service port ng refrigerant yan sa pag kaka alam ko pero pwede pa din gawan ng paraan...
