It let me to a freaking farmland, pilapil na yung dinadaanan ng kotse ko. Buti nakauturn ako dun sa bahay ng isang magsasaka kasi sobrang kitid talaga nung daan tapos lupa lang siya.

I was lost for about an hour before I was able to get back to OG road again. Never again will I use that app. Ok nga siya kasi buong Philippine map pwede idownload and so you can use it offline, but it can't tell the difference between a highway and a farm road.

I cringed at every rock that hit my wheels and car's bottom, and every shrub that scratched my paint. What an awful experience.
I know how it feels bro,- as I was in the same situation at about the same time of the year five years ago....

The Garmin GPS with downloaded Philippine map from roadguide.ph pointed me to a couple of small villages, a farmland with very narrow road and a hill....... That was a harrowing experience as I was with my family in our GS on our way to Bolinao....

(I took the road to the left- as guided by the GPS, instead of the one on the right,- which is the main road)

I highlighted such to roadguide,- but never received a feedback...

You don't take Clark - SCTEX, or via Friendship - (right sa Total gas station intersection) - Porac? That seems shorter than going through Megadike - OG (although i have not taken the route lately).

Yeah, offline maps are really awful since updates are so rare. Waze is still the best option and I was wrong for trying something else. Lesson learned the hard way

I usually take OG cuz I often drop by Guagua before heading to Florida. But now, I was heading straight to Florida. I thought that Here was leading me to Porac, but when I got to the Porac town proper it led me to a different route away from the main road and into the farmlands. And then my hour-long journey on narrow unpaved roads began. Now my car has a few streaks from shrubs to perpetually remind me of this awful experience.

So galit daw sakin yung bagong chiks sa work dahil hindi ko daw siya follow sa facebook and twitter gaya ng mga ibang guys sa office. Ang weird kasi akala niya ay close na kami porke nakatable ko lang siya kumain.

I was driving that Megadike road once in a tall vehicle when i got hit by a strong gust of wind. That's one road you wouldn't want to go off from.

Something similar happened with us before. We followed a map around Taal Lake where supposedly we could drive from Talisay to Taal Town following the shoreline. At one point we ended up on top of a mountain with nothing but carabaos and grass and the road turned was really more of a trail as well. The only difference from your case was that we were in a Land Cruiser 80 series so we just soldiered on until our destination. :D

Hopefully some wax can remove most of the streaks from your ride.

Bad trip kang driver ka ng maliit na oto na papasok ng Sm Sucat kaninang hapon.

You already saw, while you were approaching from Sucat Rd, that I was waiting for the other car which was being inspected as I was merging with the lane and yet you still attempted to get ahead of me.... It was a good thing you changed your mind at the last moment because I was ready to hit you hard....the guard could only smile and shake his head because of your short witted stunt.... Further, the vehicle that i was driving, since I was already in the security area, needed no further inspection but yours would, which would delay me.

You're actually lucky because I was with wifey and we're going home. If I were by myself, you would be scratching your head and beating your breast tonight for your foolish deed....
