Matagal na ko pinipilit ex ko mag upgrade to Fiber but he can't convince me. Just like my office buddy who was convincing me to converge. I stick with DSL [emoji14]
If my fiber is sira both phone and internet damay. I don't want my number changed din, but you said I can retain my number for a fee but I don't know if my Mom will complain about.
Mas lalong hindi na talaga now that I found out papasok sa loob ng bahay. I didn't even let my Kuya inside the few times he visited, hanggang garden lang, he said I am paranoid and OA but that's okay at least it's one less thing for me to worry about. Problem ko nga pano pag forced upgrade na. Hope there's a vaccine na when that happens.

Number is retained for free.
But yes they have to enter your home to install.
And before hand you have to make provisions for wiring inside your home (i.e. the fiber optic cable has to land somewhere)

Just leave the installation area and disinfect it later. That's what I did. Install took a couple of hours for the line going into the house. For the modem, another couple of hours. By the end of the day, up and running na.
Exactly, so no matter what people say here since ayaw mo naman mag-Fiber, hindi ka magfifiber.
Your complaints would have been solved by fiber that's why people have been strongly recommending it, but since ayaw mo, then your DSL will remain until you have no choice.
Might be good to stop complaining about the DSL unless you're willing to take on the solution (fiber) kasi otherwise paikot ikot lang. Complain, someone recommends fiber, you remain adamant...then complain again, someone recommends fiber again, and so kn.

Imagine the loads of data a modem process in a day..it accumulate in weeks..in months..thats why it hangs due to memory overload on your end or the equipments of the ISP is showing its age
Its good practice to reset the modem from time to time to clear the modem memory
