I read my KW-Hr display in our electric meter couple of days ago.

If I project until end of May and average the consumption for Mar, Apr, and May, I will be paying 2.5X my regular electric bill for these months....

Then April is average then yun May I think naka read na sila parang May 2 or 3 naka deploy na sila ng meter readers.

They're computing the average from Dec, Jan and Feb. Kasi daw weather were colder kaya mas mababa ang gamit.

That's true bro.

But the increase in the electricity cost would just be a fraction.

The more mitigating reason is that two of our princes are in our castle since mid March (and the rest of us, too) using electricity 24/7...😃😊

Saka naman tumaas talaga ang consumption during the lockdown.

Yun installment yata naman choice ng consumers. I-breakdown na daw nila meron installment for the two months plus current bill and over all bill.

So king gusto bayaran ng buo then pay the whole mapunta kung gusto take advantage yun installment then yun isang amount and bayaran.

Ang nakakatawa lang dami nagreklamo na tumaas bill nila eh sigurado naman na tumaas gamit talaga nila.

Tama naman? 3100 for March and 3500 for April? I mean malapit yung amount. Yung nakita ko sa FB yung tipong 4k average naging P16k next bill

may sub meters ako cathy each room, wala lang sa common area. kaya ako naiinis kasi, sa rooms palang 500 plus na kwh
mas pabor sakin either accurate or isang bagsak lang

pero officemate ko mismo 5k average nila naging 24k

there is no rule dis-allowing electrical or waterous submeters, as long as they are connected past the official kuntador.
the utility company's responsibility ends after the kuntador.
and KKB lahat nang mga submeters na 'yan.

Pagkatapos naman ng average, I adjust nila ulit yan sa next billing para kung sobra or kulang ang binayad mo for the lockdown. Yun nga lang pinag base nila ng average eh yung hindi 24/7 tao sa bahay at medyo malamig pa. Ngayon eh maghapon na tao sa bahay mainit pa kaya sa mga billing na nagsimula na read ang meter saka darating ang malaking billing.

Meter reading namin is every month end, I expect malaki bill namin this 1st week of June.

Yes. Pwede submeter. We use submeter sa tenants ng in-law ko.
