Yung ex ko naki order sakin sa Amazon almost P35k worth of earphones, na decline na tuloy sarili kong transactions kasi over limit na ko! I only have a small credit limit for my e card, now I have to use my other card with a larger limit which I hate to use online!

Yes. He does not have his own card because he is not qualified, he has not worked in more than 20 years. No bank will give him a CC. I already told him to use his parents or brother's card and just use my address in the US but he insists on using my card pa! Even if he pays for the purchase, hassle pa rin to make and track the order plus the amount for payment. I make a lot of online transactions, hindi naman naka specify which is which. Naalala ko yung sabi ni shadow, hindi man lang mag offer to buy myself something as appreciation haha! Dati nga round DOWN pa magbayad. I honestly believe karma ko siya because I was not good to men in my younger years.

If I were then I would have married him over a decade ago. Nahihiya lang ako tumanggi. Gawain ko rin naman magpabili sa iba but for big amounts I give the cash already. Nagpapabili nga ko ng cabinet sa friend ko sa IKEA in Europe because it's cheapest there

no idea, I just used another card. I also don't want to increase the limit because that's my protection from fraud.

Before nun '90s citibank will increased on the spot if you call them of course within certain limit lang. Meron silang certain amount na in the spot increase pag declined card mo.

Bihira kasi may card nung 90s, status symbol pa if you have a gold card (and up). My Kuya, ex and friend worked in the cards department in the 90s kasi.

Yup it's so basic like owning a phone, kahit blue collar meron. I don't know why hindi nahihiya ex ko na at his age wala siyang card. Sa bagay, di nga siya nahihiya na mid 40s na siya allowance basis pa siya. Unbelievable

If I have cash, will still pay in cash. Mas mabilis, lalo na if no or minimal change lang yung sobra sa binayad ko.

May mga kakilala ako na until now walang credit card, they are doing fine naman. Yun lang may perks na hindi nila ma-enjoy. Points, discounts, 0% instalments.

But yes I agree everybody should have one. For me more of pang emergency siya.

Awkward to use cash when you are the one paying (date or treat etc) Hirap i explain pero I agree na awkward hehe

Dunno how adults go about without a card, unlike tulad ng ex ko na c/o lahat sa magulang. When you buy online, check in sa hotel, plane tickets, huge purchases card ang gamit

Last year I called up 89-100 and ask for a credit increase, after a few days they increased my credit limit, but it really depends on you credit standing if it's good or not.

nothing awkward about handing over money. the folks i treat don't seem to mind, either.
i pay cash whenever i can.
it prevents me from spending too much.
it also helps keep the wallet thin and manage-able.

i have a CC. i use it only when i have to.

Same tayo doc, I pay cash, I just use my cc to buy plane tickets or if I want to buy some things online, pero pag nasa pinas ako, I just pay cash.
