What privacy do you need and want?

Want privacy? Get your own place. That's the price people pay if they still live in their parent's house. That is their house. My house,my rules.

My dad's rule is no locked doors. And when I do close my door I always have someone checking on me. I can't move out because I'm an only child and I have to take care of my senior family

it would appear, they are checking in on you, rather than the other way around.

Suwerte naman pala mapapangasawa mo. May bahay na agad

But seriously, you can move out and still take care of them. May kakilala nga ako na nag "move out" sa kanila so he can have his own place and his own rules in his own house pero halos kapitbahay nya lang ang parents nya.

Reality check. Can you not move out or you don't want to move out?

Isa lang rule ko dyan eh. Their house, their rules. Bahay pa rin ng parents mo yan. So you follow their rules.

I can move out but I don't want to. My fat lab also needs enough space to run. Sometimes I just need a little privacy.

that would be fine, if there were a place na halos kapitbahay lang, and one has the wherewithal to build or rent the dwelling.

If I were to spend on rent it has to be walking distance from my office. But that's 30k plus for a studio or one BR. No thank you. I will go home na lang. Only 15 to 20 mins away lang naman my house. Hehehe

in the past, i also wrestled with the choice of whether to move out or to stay and "take care of the old folks".
    i decided to stay.
today, i feel i made the right decision.

I also love being around my family. There are just some moments when I want some privacy.

Oh whenever my Mom nags me about cleaning my room I just remember what you said about how your miss your Mom, and how clean your floors were?

    yespo.
papa was an old country boy, where they'd roll out the mats every night and sleep on the floor.
in our house, papa would sleep just about anywhere on the floor where it suited him.
that's why the floor was always very clean.

I woke up past 9 am. I can't be consistent in coming in early like my crush.

Perhaps an alarm clock located further away from the bed, Ms. Cath? Babangon ka talaga.

Tagal mo na din nag wowork, hindi pa din adjusted body clock mo?

To be honest minsan nauuna pa ako sa alarm magising, sarap ng feeling na you can snooze a little more hehe

I think I asked this before, may policy on office hours ba sa inyo? Buti hindi ka nabigyan memo due to tardiness.

I use alarm clock xtreme sa playstore. Mapapatay mo lang snooze at stop by solving simple math. So it's impossible to tap the stop button without realizing it kasi ibubuka mo talaga mata mo at magisip konti

Nung pasaway ako sa pag gising ng maaga, meron akong na download na alarm clock app. For you to snooze or stop the alarm, you have to shake the phone hard for a couple of seconds. Gising talaga ako nun. can't remember the name of the app but a good Google search will give you that. hth
