Bro.,- ganyan talaga tayong mga Garmin GPS users,- magaling sa tracking and navigation (may waypoints pa)....

I have a couple of 4.3" units(old models) and one 5" unit (relatively newer model 55LM).... Very handy indeed...

Hehe, maganda ba ung bago sir? Ung mga garmin ko naka-tengga na lang ngayon. Gamit ko na lang sila pag long drives o pag pupunta sa mga liblib na pook. Plus nakakalimutan ko na rin i-update ang map (nawala na ata contributor status ko sa roadguide haha).

I seldom use them too nowadays.

One of our rides have built in navigation system and we now use Waze here in the metro. We normally use the Garmin units outside of the metro....

My last map update was over a year ago.

Btt: took me more than half an hour to find a park here in metropolis Alabang... deym!

I'd rather keep my garmin. Paano sir pag nawalan ka ng data connection sa waze? GPS na lang gagana (kung may GPS din phone). Bukod sa wala na search function, most of the time palyado din ang routing dahil di na makapag-calculate. Ang garmin namin di kailangan ng data connection. Walang value? Think again sir[emoji111].

Around 5 times a year lang sir on the average. Mostly sa mga liblib na resorts/bahay[emoji1].

Yup,- a GPS unit is a standalone unit... In the provinces, this is a fit,- as we are not dealing much with traffic, which is a major concern in the metro....

As long as waze was able to plot the route before you lost data connection, the whole route is cached already so ok lang as long as you dont deviate(it cant recalculate another route once data is gone). Once waze fails me, my go-to navigation apps are here and maps.me(using my old phone) to cross.check the route para sure di maliligaw. Free pa download and update ng maps. I find them more reliable than my garmin(di rin kasi updated).

my 89 year old mom has influenza symptoms (colds, fever). i'm in malaysia and i can't go home. she refuses to be brought to the hospital. we've already called Home Health Care for a doctor to do a home visit. hopefully it's just colds and nothing serious. still, i worry.

Stupid BP monitor. It showed my BP was elevated this morning but when I went to the clinic, it is normal. But I feel strange with a ringing between my ears and discomfort on my shoulder blades. Doctor told me what I expected - diet and exercise.
