Nagkaroon din ako ng encounter sa senior na taxi driver (79 yr old) and still driving. Hindi pa man hinihingan na ako ng discount kasi senior naman sya, even showing his senior ID 😄 basag mismo ang bumper ko my rough estimate will not less than 8k. Inabutan lng ako ng 1.1k, tinanggap ko na kesa maabala pa, mukhang wala naman talaga ako mapipiga besides nakakatraffic na kami sa roxas blvd. Charge to driving experience na lang kako sa sarili ko😂 and we part ways.

In a way I agree, not to the mamatay ha? But the pulling out the senior citizen card to get away with everything which is very wrong and very unfair.

Importante wala nasaktan and yun nga hindi na din siya naghabol na kami pa may kasalanan and manghingi ng pampaayos, for sure that will trigger my anger since siya naman talaga ang mali kanina.

Medyo off lang yung kesyo senior na kami, pagbigyan niyo kami. I said in a diplomatic way na sa kalsada ho pantay pantay tayo, hindi ho lahat ng asa paligid niyo ay alam na senior kayo.

My last accident which was four years ago was with a senior citizen driver, who was 77 years old. I was waiting for the light to turn green when he made an illegal u turn and hit our car's rear bumper. Good thing the tail light was not damaged...

I didn't get anything from him. I paid for everything and the abala...

.I think I read somewhere that you are only allowed to drive up to the age of 75? Can anybody confirm it?

^I have an 80+ yr old lolo who still drives until now but he is based in the province. Drivers in the province (even passenger jeeps) are courteous. My other lola, before she had dementia a few years ago was still driving (only around Makati) at 81. She drives herself to church and to her charity projects. She never got into an accident.

I don't think there is an age limit.

There is no maximum age limit for drivers here in the Philippines.

Cathy kung kaya ng lola mo mag drive sa makati, kayang kaya nya na sa buong metro. I guess with the exception yun maynila (quiapo, tondo raon etc) area

She only drives in areas near her house or around cbd. I don't think she can drive the stretch of edsa or sshw. It is hard to drive in places that are unfamiliar or too crowded (example pasay, dami ng jeep, bus, taxi, pedicab)

Ah yes pasay. Ako i try to avoid pasay, makati and maynila. Mga officemates ko na mahilig magyaya ng sale; sinasabi ko mag mrt nalang sila lol

Yesterday when I was backing out of the parking space of the church with my steering wheel fully turned it suddenly died on me when I turned on the engine I was surprise that my rpm reading was 550 rpm and when you turn the steering wheel the idle will go down and I had to start the car several times and it was an automatic transmission.

And I don't have receipt. Hinde naman kasi ako nagkukuha ng receipt Sa ATM. I'll just call them on Monday. I guess no use in talking to them now since its holiday for the next couple of days.

That's why we are gonna sell it not because of problem but due to it's age and some parts will break and will break even if it is maintained properly
