Nag-BSOD na naman yung 6-year old laptop ko. I only use it for watching downloaded movies and series anyway (iffy na rin yun wifi nya so I download on another computer) but I don't want to dispose of it yet.

Sentimental value? A 6 year old laptop is comparable to a middle aged man, labasan na ng sakit or lumalala ang sakit. Usual na cause lang naman nyan is ram, linisin mo lang ng contact cleaner

So I spent days planning for my BFFs birthday (who also happens to be my direct manager) then I go to FB and our colleague posts a note from my BFF commending her for a great job (work related) and that they are "partners" at work.

Only my German boss truly appreciates me!!! SO I deleted my FB account because I was so pissed. I am still gonna push through with the surprise that I planned, organized and spent for. But I will not be there! I feel so hurt!!! She can have a new office best friend!

3 of my guy friends in their 40s said that problems do start at that age. And I read that often when a guy hits 50, the blue pill is needed na for help.

More likely scenario would be the ticket was issued to someone else ahead of you who decided to "negotiate" so the TE needed to dispense the ticket quickly to someone else. Hence the urgency to catch you and make up the same violation.

Actually I think all the TEs had a bunch of tickets filled out--I was one of six or so they flagged down and nag-aabang pa yung iba. Sa dami nga namin nahaharangan na namin yung two lanes eh.

(BTW "DTS" pala, not DST, na-o-OC ako pero di na maedit haha)

What's wrong? I think it's valid. That was just the straw that broke the camel's back. She's my direct manager and I never felt much appreciation and support like my German boss does. She doesn't even involve herself with my work so how can she know what's going on. If I have work issues I go straight to our AVP or German boss because she's always hands off.

Then in the same sentence, you say you're gravely wounded because another officemate of yours posts about being Happy that your BFF gave her some praise. This angers you. You then use this as your reason to delete your FB account and categorically state that you wont attend the party you setup for her. And then you bash her here about not being supportive or appreciative of your work.

I say this out of concern for your actions: 'Maybe you might want to re-consider'.

We are a community here after all and we try to help each other.

Thanks for knocking some sense into me. I just ordered one of our favorite cakes and will pick it up tomorrow

I just felt hurt that she never gave me any praise and it's always my AVP or German boss that gives me commendation and awards. An example would be my AVP attends the meetings/projects that I head and when I ask her to join she tells me she won't have any contribution there since I am already a specialist/SME.

Yeah. She does admit that she is not familiar with my work since she handled all the positions in our group as a staff except mine. '
