    take for example this statement made by tessa salazar in today's Inquirer: "The [Isuzu D-Max] surges in lower gears, which takes some extra effort to tame. In long drives, or in stop-and-go traffic, this could be extra tiring. But in the rough-and-tumble world of 4x4 driving, this character is what we would look for."

    what the hell? So desirable na pala ang throttle surge ngayon sa 4x4's. hehe.

    alam mo naman kung ang binabasa mo e press release lang ng isang company - puro positive, para bang advertisement ang labas. kulang na lang direct promotion ang gawin eh. saka tignan mo dami advertisement. halimbawa toyota yung car na ni-review, dami ads ng toyota dun sa edition na yun! gaya ng isang tv mag dyan puro positive. ni hindi nga yata gumagawa ng episode pag walang advance payment ang car company e ehehehehe! di ko sasabihin kilala kasi ako ehehehe!

    alam mo na din kung nabayaran ang sumulat - downplayed ang negatives, emphasized ang pros, 1sang paragraph lang ang mga negative comment. tagal na ginagawa yan, bago i-print may dinner-dinner kunwari ang mga editor tapos may inaabot na envelope sabay sabi ng "wag mo naman kami ilampaso sa lalabas na edition nyo please..."

    alam mo din ang fair review - andun lahat. kahit na kokonti lang ang negative na nilabas basta makikita mo sa style, hindi nila tinago yung nakita na hindi maganda. saka alam mo yung publication na fair ang review, wala masyado naga-advertise kasi gustong patayin ng mga subjects nila. gaya ba ng "probe team", kaya nalulugi kasi niyayari ng mga advertising agencies (kasi yung adverticing agency binabayaran na agad ng mga pr people para wag kumuha ng ad space sa publication or tv show na ayaw nila).


    so ang sagot sa tanong mo, depende sa sumulat, sa isinulat at saan sinulat.
