Worth it ba ang Vans Old Skool? Is it really better than its peers, say entry level Chuck Taylors? To be clear, i meant if it's durable.

Is there any noticeable difference between the Old Skool and Old Skool Pro? the latter is supposed to have superior cushioning, but got feedback that it's not as comfortable.

How does Airwalk compare vs Vans, better or worse?

^ Sir Made in USA ba yan? Am not that impressed with the stock we have here.
i'm a fan of the classics, but i would prefer that they have some updates. If they follow the classic design verbatim, you inherit whatever shortcoming they have, which may have been addressed by now.

i have to admit though, i like how the Old Skool looks. Classic, not too pretentious, not too ordinary looking. Question ko lang talaga is the comfort and durability.

What's your go-to shoes during rainy season?
I need a waterproof or water repellent one. Budget is P3,000 to P5,000.

my hush puppies lasted 2 years, after which the rubber compound crumbled to uselessness.

try the goretex models. merrel has several, but they're not "office-enough".
rockport has office-able models. medyo pricey, but matibay.

Thoughts about Bata shoes? My Hush Puppies are on its last legs (pun intended) and saw these on sale locally at SM. I've seen these before in Japan but they seem to be exclusively used by high school students (specifically private schools) and rather expensive even by Japanese standards IMO. But here they seem competitively priced.

after my experience with hush puppies (above post), i'm also looking into Bata. good price.

Mine are merrells. Pang akyat at pang bukid ko. It's casual enough so pwede na din kung di naman kelangan pumorma.

What i like about them is their traction. The rubber compound they use is superb. Kamapant ka vs dulas.

Sikat nanaman ang DMs. Shoes of choice ng mga millennials. Mas nagmahal pa ata kasi uso ang 90's grungy look sa mga hipsters

Rockport shoes are quite durable. They are also very comfortable.

DMs are also very durable but they don't go well in semi-formal office attire. However, I may have to try that. Makabili nga ng DMs ulit.

The colehaan zerogrand shoes are perfect blend of office-worthy, comfort, traction and sportiness.

Cole Haan are quite comfortable but I had a bad experience with a old pair before. It's not that durable.

Rockport also have their version of the zerogrand and it's less than half the price of the Cole Haan. The Rockport shoes come with adiprene soles by Adidas.

Wifey got me these last weekend from the local outlet store:

Not actually sure if they're for her or for me but I don't really care because I like the colors and how comfy they feel. It's like wearing thick socks.

The very flat soles make driving easier too. I've always had a difficult time driving with formal shoes on.

How's the comfort while walking bro? Always fancied this brand but it seems a bit too stiff so I couldn't take the plunge.
