I'm just wondering. Thanks.

ha? no, di naman ganun. Minsan kasi kahit matalino nung highschool(read:mataas ang grades), hindi pumapasa sa ateneo. Minsan kasi kaya matataas lang grades nung iba, magaling magmemorize galing sa libro, di masyadong iniintindi.

pagcollege entrance exams kasi usually stocked knowledge ang natetest. so yun. Pati of course may natatanggap on their second third or fourth choice. Di lang pag first.

Some of my classmates got in courses like IS, mga 4th choice na nila to. But they later shifted out to other courses. My other friends got in their second choice. From what I know, if you pass the overall evaluation they'll accept you into a course that fits you. I have a friend who's first choice was MIS but was place in her second choice na CS(honors), kasi mataas ung evluation sa kanya.

Just like UP... their graduates are intelligent because their students are already picked as the best before they start.

yeppers... before college they are the best, after college they are now BeSt... hehehehe joke! i find some of my schoolmates more than intelligent... they are something else... more of wholistic... not really pure talino lang... and i think yun ang basis nila... pero not sure... dapat ata all-around ka... jack of all trades master of none... since you'll be trained as a leader...

ot: i think most ateneans act alike... i dunno... in a meeting with another company, my mom is observing this guy and me, throughout the meeting daw we act alike the whole time, almost the same get-up... same way of talking... hehehehe... masmagaling nga lang sa negotiations yun isa kaysa sa akin pero kasi naman 1st yr ako 4th yr na siya noon... and to think hindi ito yun first time niya ako nasabihan...

after 2months... i miss going back to college... hehehehehe... daya... socsci students will be havin a new building... and som students would have their mall...

There's something to that. Pansin ko nga na ang mga pinsan ko na taga Ateneo, mas confident, mas... centered kaysa mga ibang tao.

Of course, yung mga galing La Salle, mas dissatisfied sa sarili nilang kakayahan, so they fight tooth and nail for their success. :D

Ako, taga UP... what did it teach us? Puros mga laid-back kami... Peace, maaaaaan...

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

Matalino =/= Magaling. Pero marami ngang magaling dahil matalino.

When I went to Ateneo years ago, they had this "give you another chance" system. The admin made a breakdown of your scores in Science, Filipino, Math and English.

I got a "good" in English, "very good" in Science and Filipino but had a "poor" rating in Math. As a result, I was admitted in Ateneo but I had to take an "extra" Math class called "Basic Algebra." Some of my Cebuano blockmates did well in Math but fared poorly in Filipino and had to take an extra "Basic Filipino" class.

Naiintriga ako sa "give you another chance" system. Baka naman kukuha pa ako ng basic algebra or something. Haha

No, no, the best go to UP. Those short of best, well, scatter around. LOL. Joke ito ha. Back in freshie days we would always have school wars. It was fun. But I've learned it's unfair. It's not where you go to school that defines you, it's what do. (It's a Batman line )

Ang hirap kaya ng ACET. Mas mahirap sa UPCAT. Always wanted to go to Ateneo, but the choices offered were these: UP and a car or ADMU.

i feel obliged to defend my alma mater (DLSU) but ayus lang hehe...

it really depends on the course you are applying, some colleges are better in a particular course lang talaga so yung requirements ng choice mu dun magdedepend, for example:sa IE, UP lang naman katapat namin, IE ng ADMU low quality

i worked my ass off on that course kasi and no IE will tell you na walk in the park lang yun, need proof? females are inherently more hardworking and intelligent than males, female to male ratio in class: 1st-2nd yr-5:5; 3rd yr-7:3; 4th yr-8:2; grad day-9:1
