glennster,

There's a clinic in Teacher's Village in Quezon City. #97 Maginhawa Street. It's near Claret. Look for Dr. Ed Concepcion. He offers acupuncture and other alternative medicine. He's a real doctor and does alternative medicine as well. He was trained in China. I tried it myself when I tried to stop smoking. Worked for me. The last time I was there, it was around P200 per 1 to 1.5 hr session.

some people go to this primarily for pains...I used it as a stress reliever.. Med Doctors said I was having too much work-related stress (psychosomatic stomach pains was one of them) and one of them suggested accupuncture. went there and had a few sessions since my Manila Office is in Morato only.
after sticking me with needles, he puts on a little current on them.. kinda tickles if you ask me. it felt great afterwards. parang masahe. hehehe..
