Accenture or SVI or ano bang magandang SW comp?

I have a friend na nagiisip or nagtatalo kami kung saan magandang lipatan. Do you have any info about those company?

I myself is planning to shift from web-related thingies to software stuffs.

Pk, ano na ang nangyari sa kanila? Bored na ako sa web-prog. Paulit-ulit na lang. Ginawan ko na kasi lahat ng template.

Isang ex-student ko COBOL migration ang tinitira. Sayang coz malufet din pagkakatrain ko dun sa Java.

Yung iba, di lang ako sure kasi di kami close.

Yung co-Faculty ko dati Senior Prog. MCSD.

Kung lilipat ako dun, baka next year as Project Manager. Bahala na. hehe

Malamang sa dirty jobs pa uli ako ilagay if ever. Anyway I'd made up my mind that I'll gonna leave the web-prog-dev stuffs. I have to admit na mahina na ang web-related businesses since I started this career last 1998. Medyo "napamahal" lang ako dito sa current company kaya hindi ako nakaalis agad but I think it is time for me to move on and multiply:D

Frank, Actually parang PM yung job ko ngayon, pero permanent yung tenure, hindi project basis. It's a good thing nakawala na rin ako sa development. Yung friend ko madalas daw OVERNIGHT pag kelangan i-rush ang trabaho. Bad trip talaga siguro.

At least dito, minsan na lang ako nagcocode (watch out for SUN's WAP site by your's truly), and more of project administration na lang...

di'ba sa Marketing Dept. ka tama ba? Bakit may WAP developmt kang nagawa? Or extra na lang yun?

Anyway, if I leave this job I'll gonna miss going to work in tshirts, jeans and rubber shoes.

pakiramdam ko it's more about the kind of projects you're getting, and not web development per se...kc pag sa sw devt. pag day in day out pare pareho ginagawa mo, magsasawa ka rin

mukhang tama nga si pajerokid. more and more companies ay sumasakay na lang sa mga BIG cphone operators... fix na kasi ang kita sa mga airtime charges eh so kailangan lang ng kaunting ingenuinity for this.. magandang sideline nga yan ....

kung ako ang papipiliin between SVI and ACCENTURE? tama ba?...

both companies does support IT di ba?.... pati na SYKES... medyo call center front pero IT ang handle nila.. (correct me if im wrong)

kasi sa amin madami nagaapply ng lines di ba?... so ang pinepresent nila is payslip and COE..

i think mas well compensated ang Accenture ng kaunti sa SVI pero pag sinama mo ang SYKES mas well compensated lumalabas ang sa sykes dahil sa mga incentives nilang binibigay monthly.... ang style kasi nila.. mababa ang basic para maliit ang tax and then non taxable ang incentives so pumapasaok lahat sa monthly malaki talaga.,...

Accenture naman kasi kung sa field of work naman malupet na rin... alam ko magtra-trainiing ka naman muna bago ka nila isabak sa project eh... kasi dati dapat sa accenture me papasok kaso, binigyan me ng holding period.... 2years contract and hindi me pwede lumipat sa ibang company unless hindi ko tapos yung contract... eh by this year im planning to go abroad kaya hindi ko na tinanggap.... MIS / technincal support na rin ako ng globe kaya nagdalawang isip na ko....

IMHO - Accenture ang mas maganda kung career wise ang pag uusapan coz they will constantly train you and equip you with the right tools to deliver results ( with corresponding bond nga lang ) .... tama si mugen, once na pumirma ka ng contract with ACCENTURE, bind ka sa kanila ng 2years and kung aalis ka b4 that magbabayad ka sa kanila ng 100K :-( actually may job offer na rin sa akin ang ACCENTURE and maganda ang offer but since US ang i su support, i have to work night shift ... so i have to compare this one to my current job/salary and the working environment ( think .. think... think ) ... for me, Go for Accenture coz kilala sila sa ibang bansa and plus points ka if you are thinking of having a job outside the philippines...

Frank, pare kung online shopping over a WAP/GPRS or WAP/wTCIP-IP oks din. ang kita mo depende sa rev share. All you have to do is port your work to function with Mobiles using Mobile Application APIs pasok ka na.

Pardon me for suggesting this pero mobile **** is a good idea. parang WAP***Y.com
