'tis difficult to get into any spirit but gloom, if the horizon is dark and one's feet are wet...

It's still the same. Malls and restaurants are packed even on a weekday.

I liked Chrstmas better when I was a child because it meant gifts and money Now Christmas for me it stressful because I have to find the perfect gift for friends and family. Ubos din pera ko pag Christmas

Most restaurants are packed even if it's not Christmas season.

what i do notice, is that there does not seem to be much of a preparation for these presentations..
in our time, we had SATB voices.. live music and not recordings..

Restaurants are much worse on December. I made reservations one week in advance and I still did not get a good table, in some I was not even able to get a table :twak:

I do love the Christmas stop lights at BGC

Yeah, how come nobody does caroling anymore. When I was a child my parents would really prepare whenever we had carolers (adult) at home. We prepared dinner and my Lolo and Lola would come over too.

We all are just getting older and no longer feel the magic of christmas.

Meron pa dati may mga mini-belen complete with lights.
