June 27th, 2015 01:58 AM #6If its for a Benz, I wouldn't use any other coolant except the OEM MB coolant or at least the Febi brand coolant, both are available at Delodur (German Motors)
If you have relatives in the US then you could do what I do, buy the only approved aftermarket coolant for MB, Zerex GO51, its available at most auto parts store in the US then have them ship it here, malaki ang kamurahan sa OEM coolant and it does the job well.
Benz yan at hindi Toyota, kaya wag magpapaniwala sa mga recommendation about Prestone or Toyota coolant, Di ko alam kung may adverse effect ba yung Toyota coolant pero yung Prestone masyadong matapang lalo na for models with aluminum cylinder heads, eventually kakainin nya yung aluminum and it will require a replacement of cylinder head which is very costly.

And lastly, ALWAYS use DISTILLED WATER mixed with coolantLast edited by ronw123w124; June 27th, 2015 at 02:00 AM.

Yup, it is for my w202 sir... As i browse thru different threads ng MB club worldwide kagabi... Most dont recommend using prestone or any other coolant aside from MB coolant or Zerex nga sir... But theres a few who still uses prestone for their MBs...
But, i wont take the risk siguro hehe... I'll try to contact delodur. And yes, distilled water sir! Thanks!
