this weekend dalhin ko sa mekanico for checking at magastos pala consumo ng gas. province ako sir kya "highway" ang travel ko so at least sana 9-10 kms/lit as per lowslowbenz

eto naman, parang putol na hose, sa heating system ba eto? malapit sya sa engine oil filter.

eto naman katabi ng carb:

I - yung yellow color na plastic
II - electrical socket

saka eto, read somewhere kung saan forum, yung (I) round plastic, socket sya to diagnose ata, whole system or engine/mechanical etc?

then yung alum box (II), para saan use sya?

Photos in order

1. Ignition system relays and fuses
2. Cut heater hose. The previous owner took out the heater.
3. Carb cold start circuit. Enriches fuel mixture on cold starts, electromechanical yan.
4. Engine diagnostics port, and ignition system igniter (alum box).

sir thnx for the info, sensya na at natagalan sa pag reply, hehe. was busy recently kaya ngayon lang naka reply.

nga pla mga sir, was checking the net and found out that my 'ol lady is really 123 200 gas and with PIERBURG 175 CD carb.

was asking sa international forum about some adjustment sa choke nya (im not a mechanic pero medyo gusto lang mag kuting-ting), mas madali kasi mag express ng sariling salita kaya post din ako dito hehehe.

eto sir yun pix nya

sabi kasi sir dapat yung marking, dapat naka tapat, 2 markings nya pero mas obvious yung isa (I) compare sa (II)

tapos tinangal ko yung YELLOW cover

paano i-adjust yung marking mga sir?

after luwagan yung 3 screws, paano sya sir i-adjust?

pahabol nga pla, nabasa ko sir sa MB phil site, yung STROMBERG carb, kelangan lagyan ng ATF, nilagyan ko sir etong PIERBURG 175 CD ko, kasi parang pareho sya dun sa post na nakita ko, yellow cap screw din sya sir, would this compromise my pierburg carb?

Why would you want to adjust the choke?

ATF talaga ang nilalagay sa Stromberg. Don't worry, you're doing it correctly.

whew! akala ko na compromise ko na yung carb hehehe, kinabahan ako dun ah. at leat 2-3 times a month ako nag lalagay ng atf sa carb sir.

thanks also for the link, pag aralan ko din mamyang gabi.

reg sa choke adjsutment, meron kasi akong nabasa sa intl forum na dapat daw sir naka tama yung marking nya (aligned) so based sir sa pix ko, hindi aligned. kaya inisip ko kaya nag stall halos yung makina habang tumatakbo sir, baka due to that.

habang crusing sir, around 70-8- kms/hr, nawawala ng power yung makina even naka step ako sa pedal ng gas. as in yung rpm nya slowly nababa. then tinabi ko, pump ako, parang kinakapos. turned off ko makina, then pag start, oks na anaman, one click pa nga. then a few kms ulit, ganun na naman, nawawala power, hindi naman totall off makina sir, pro dahan dahan sya nawawalan ng power. for a 70 kms ride, halos 8 times ko naranasan na nag ganun.

newly timed ang makina, spark plugs are all ok and cleaned up.

province ako now sir, wala pako mahanap na marunong sa chedeng na mekanico, so kaya try ko muna sa mga forum. then try ko muna ako mag tempo repair until madala ko ulit sya ng manila.

tried cleaning the fuel filter, oks naman sir wala halos dumi, there are some few bits, halos mabibilang mo ang dumi.

kung pump naman, diba sir dapat consistent na ang problem, baka sa pag start lang dapat me problem na, kaso pag natakbo lang naman sya nag paparamdam. nose bleed nako! wapaaaak! hehehe

eto ba sir pump nya? pierburg din ang brand

additional pala, eto ksi sir walang wire, nakikita ko sa mga photos, merong 2 wire, saka kung need lagyan ng connection, pano ko lalagyan?

palagay nyo mga sir, ano pa possibilities?

I also have a w123 2.0 gas and I get it serviced at a shop in Las Pinas that specializes in mercs and other older vehicles.

yes sir zhandros, im from pque, but currently im here in bicol, problema ko nag lang sa ngayon paano ko i byahe ng manila at me problem oto ko, taragis hehehe.

wala kasi dito sa liblib na lugar namin may alam sa chedeng, takot galawin. kya problemado ako ngayon

thanks so much sir, already archived the list you made.

will visit on of the shops when im in manila.

so for now eto at im still on the limbo on why the engine acts crazy, i did adjust the alignment sa choke, tinapat ko sa marking, will do so testing bukas, malalaman ko kung ok takbo nya.

will update the thread kung ano resulta nung adjustment ko, hoping maging ok hehehe.
