Great goal by Messi. Right between the legs of the goalie.

A bunch of pioneers tried to pass over the Sierra Nevadas in winter with little food and provisions. They ended up being stuck up in the snowy mountains. While some kept going to look for help, others stayed behind. As their food ran out, people started dying. Many survivors resorted to cannibalism with some eating the dead while others committed murder and then ate the victims.

Out of 87 emigrants, 46 survived to be rescued. It's over 100 miles of rugged terrain from Truckee to the western foothills where the survivors finally found help.

USA vs Argentina, Copa America Centenario 2016. US behind early 1-0.

No illusions about Argentina's skills and FIFA No. 1 in the world ranking. But, still gotta root for the US.

2-0 Argentina. Beautiful 2nd goal by Messi via free kick. There was no stopping that 2nd goal.

3-0 Argentina. Geez. How did Brooks not see Hinguain (open and unguarded) behind him? No situational awareness.

I can see the US being outplayed by Argentina. But, silly amateurish mistakes? SIGH. FACEPALM.

4-0 Argentina. No one seems to be commenting on it. But, Brooks again making sloppy plays. The US defense really needs to quit getting in a passing match against the Argentine forwards deep in their own zone. Pass the ball to the midfields or forwards.

Final score should've been 2-0 Argentina.

Watching Ancient Aliens on History Channel. Apparently the great leaders were sired by reptillian ancestors...that the snake in the Garden of Eden was an alien...that dragons in ancient mythology were actually reptillian aliens...that Chinese emperors, Alexander the Great, and all other sons of dragons were reptillian.

Apparently dry skin and genetic defects like webbed fingers/toes and fused appendages are signs of our reptillian blood.

Amazing what theories you can make up when you don't need to prove it.

Chile vs Colombia semifinal Copa America Centenario 2016. Chile leads 2-0. The 2nd half was delayed due to downpours and thunderstorms (Soldier Field Chicago).
