Watching Copa America 2016: Brazil vs Haiti.

The US lost to Colombia in the opener and then won against Costa Rica. They play Paraguay on June 11. They need to win to place second in the group behind Colombia and advance to the knockout round.

He He. Haiti is behind 5-0. But, they score a goal against mighty Brazil. 5-1

Copa America 2016 Chile vs Bolivia. Currently 1-1. Beautiful goal by Bolivia via direct free kick.

Chile won 2-1. Next: Argentina vs Panama.

Rerun. Costa Rica is a good team. They knocked Italy out of the tournament during the 2014 FIFA World Cup. The US is still iffy.

European Cup 2016: I watched the England-Russia game (score: 1-1). Heart-breaker for England. They let Russia score on the last minute of stoppage time. You would think think they had enough sense to pass smartly and run out the clock.

Copa America 2016: USA vs Paraguay. Obviously, I'm rooting for the US team. But, they tend to be awesome in one game and then totally mediocre in another. No consistency. Paraguay is much more consistent. Some news teams seem to be underestimating Paraguay. Tough call. But, all the US needs is a tie to advance to the knockout phase.

US leads Paraguay 1-0. Not a bad first half for the US. Good pace. Good defense. Good goalkeeping. Good scoring.

He He. How often does stoppage time occur because the ref has cramps? Very fast-paced game in the second half. US playing with 10 guys.

US holds on to win.

Now, I'm rooting for Costa Rica against Colombia. If Costa Rica wins, the US won't have to face Brazil in the quarterfinal knockout stage.

Very entertaining game. Colombia equalized to make it 1-1. Then, they scored an own-goal to make it 2-1, Costa Rica.

Colombia seems to be cursed with own-goals.

3-1 Costa Rica! Keep it up. Let Colombia face Brazil. ;)

Colombia's starting to come alive, 3-2. I guess they don't want to face Brazil either.

Peru scores a controversial goal against Brazil 1-0. The goal was actually a handball that wasn't seen by the refs.

Oh well. The US faces Ecuador regardless of who wins the Peru-Brazil game. It would be strange not to see Brazil in the knockout phase.

Bye Brazil...... That's what happens when they play for a draw instead of playing their hearts out.

Belgium vs Italy. Great matchup.

Copa America 2016. Mexico vs Venezuela. Venezuela up 1-0. My friend isn't happy. The loser faces Argentina next in the knockout phase. The winner faces Chile which is also a very good team.

Next: Uruguay vs Jamaica. Both have been eliminated by Mexico and Venezuela.

Copa America 2016, USA beats Ecuador 2-1! I guess the US had answers to Ecuador's speedy forwards.



The US will be severely undermanned when they meet the winner of the Argentina-Venezuela match. That would be it for them. At least, they made the semis which was their objective.
