    Wiki
it was considered a sort of ugly duckling in those days.
teenagers refused to ferry their dates to the prom using said car.
but to folks who have to hide something, they loved the car, as there was a lot of hiding space under the dash.
    la lang.
    heh heh.

    red eye (2005)

rachel mcadams and cillian murphy headline this wes craven directed thriller w/c seems to be a hangover from the 90's style suspense movies like "scream" and the like. but it sorts of drags and meandering w/ the plot and all that.

murphy, here, is obviously not as seasoned as he in his craft nowadays while mcadams has pretty much perfected her subtle facial expressions, it seems, early on in her career. also, i don't think they developed enough chemistry to make their rapport compelling enough to be engrossing.

You mean Hereditary? Kakatapos ko lang din panoorin nito. Hindi yung typical na jump scares type ng movie. Before nito, tinapos ko rin yung Everything Everywhere All At Once.

alien : romulus on youtube ( mukhang unauthorized stream)

i loved the pace of the film. it was gripping and very enthralling. it's a throwback to their trademark suspense roots , ika nga.

originality wise though, it's a different story perhaps because i assume it's trying to bridge other episodes of the franchise to each other. the ending too seemed a repeat of 1997's "alien : resurrection" scene wherein sigourney weaver's "ripley" character was being identified by the alien creature as its mother.

iyon nga lang kamot ulo ako bakit kamukha ng mga "the engineer" iyong alien offspring sa huling mga scene. easter egg ata pero medyo magulo din kasi ang timeline nitong movie na ito sa alien franchise para sa akin.

    the marvels (2023)

it's a pretty uninspired job by the writers of the film. parang its attempt at levity and depth is a pandesal short of a baker's dozen. in terms of quality, it's so far away from the phase 1 movies of the mcu.

also, i think the movie is primarily a chick flick. too bad it's just no good at all.

Thanks for the tip. I'll just wait for the "The Day of the Jackal" (series) to be available on Netflix.

In the meantime, I'll watch the 1973 "The Day of the Jackal" (movie).

In this movie the French president is target of the assassin.

Thanks, but I'll pass. I'm afraid of malware on these free sites, so I'll stick to paying for streaming content.

A knock at the cabin (2023) on netflix

Another M. Night shyamalan thriller w/c falls quite flat.

Dave Bautista is probably the most successful alumni of the pro wrestling world to effectively make a career move from the wwe arena to Hollywood.

Bautista's resume as an actor has become quite the roadshow. He has acted in mcu films to serious dramatic roles. And to further show his dedication to his celluloid craft , he purposely sacrificed his muscles and his body mass in order to be more believable in playing everyday roles.

The man is out to prove his worth behind the camera and that he belongs in Beverly hills.

While I agree with you on Bautista, am not a fan of Bautista the actor.
