Yes, that he is. Btw, he was in Glass Onion. I thoroughly enjoyed Knives Out but not Glass Onion.

Another M. Night shyamalan thriller w/c falls quite flat.

Dave Bautista is probably the most successful alumni of the pro wrestling world to effectively make a career move from the wwe arena to Hollywood.

Bautista's resume as an actor has become quite the roadshow. He has acted in mcu films to serious dramatic roles. And to further show his dedication to his celluloid craft , he purposely sacrificed his muscles and his body mass in order to be more believable in playing everyday roles.

The man is out to prove his worth behind the camera and that he belongs in Beverly hills.
Mas successful imho si The Rock.

"A Matter of Life and Death" (1946). Fantasy / romance film.

One of Marvel’s Best Movie Scenes Was Inspired by This Classic World War II Film | Gizmodo

Captain America: The First Avenger might never compare to the taut thriller that Winter Solider ended up being, or the measured spectacle critics are calling Civil War, but it has one special moment. It’s a moment that changes Captain America from mere hunk of propaganda to a tragic hero. And it’s borrowed wholesale from a 1946 British film, A Matter of Life and Death.

The scene in question is when Steve Rogers is crashing a plane to save the world, and back at base Peggy Carter is wrapped around a radio, saying goodbye to Steve in his final moments. Unless you’re a monster, the scene got you misty-eyed and it hangs heavy in your mind every time Steve Rogers frowns or Peggy Carter tries to move on. Here was a seminal romance torn asunder by time and circumstance.

And almost the exact same scene plays at the very beginning of A Matter of Life and Death. Peter Carter (played by David Niven) is on a doomed bomber plane with no rescue in sight, just like Cap. June (played by Kim Hunter) is a radio operator who picks up Peter’s signal, and is forced to listen as he crashes to his death, just like Peggy.

"The Betsy" (1978). Owner of car company wants to build a people's car and hires a racing car driver to help. Terrible movie. Soap opera with love triangles, incest, homos*xuality, suicide and murder.

    Freaks: you're one of us (2020) - 5/10

A German production w/c is pretty much a mediocre recreation of a Hollywood flick w/c I can't recall.

    The peacemaker (1997)

I'm not sure why I watch this movie again and again every couple of years but I do. Probably it's because Nicole Kidman was at her physical peak here.

Btw, the battering ram demolition derby at the swiss market square featuring a Mercedes Benz w124 (?) and a couple of BMWs is one of the best car scenes I've seen in a movie (for me). The way George Clooney man handled the w124 was awesome.

    Carry-on (2024) - 6.5/10

It's apparently a Christmas movie trying to hitch a ride on the coat tails of the die hard franchise. If you consider not taking into account reality, it's decent enough as a nothing-to-do on late night Sunday movie.

    Predator: Killer of Killers

A great animated movie set in the Predator universe that spans different timelines.

"Captain America: Brave New World" (2025) on Disney+.

Not as good as the first three Captain America MCU movies.

Master and commander : the far side of the world (2003) on YouTube

It's said to be one the most historically accurate naval movies ever made even though Hollywood has made liberal changes to the real life character it was based on. I think even the circumstances in the film was altered to fit the movie writer's vision of the movie.

Saw F1 (stars Brad Pitt) over the weekend.

This is a movie that can be appreciated much much more if the cinema you will watch it in has really good surround sound. It is also important that the sound engineer of said cinema is not asleep at the wheel and is able to properly set the audio to what this film deserves.

I saw it on Cinema 2 of Fisher Mall (Dolby 7.1) and it sounded excellent -- it really sounded like you were trackside.

I don't think you need to see it in IMAX but definitely be picky about the audio.

Superman - This Superman was lighter & more comic book-y to Snyder's dark & grittier version. Although I liked this better than the Man of Steel, I wasn't completely wowed. It's still a good movie though. Hopefully it would do enough to make fans excited for succeeding DC films.

Fantastic Four - Great visuals of a 60s retro futuristic theme, but was an average superhero movie for me. I liked Superman & Thunderbolts better than this, & my favorite part of the movie was the mid credit scene.

Fantastic Four: First Steps. Good movie. Was pleasantly surprised. The retrofuturistic set designs were great. Disney, this is how you make a summer movie.
