i am sure most of us had been a victim of the advertisers between the lines propaganda...

take this for instance, weve been a subscriber of pldt dsl for a while, however the ads posted, like they are having a speed upto 384kbps, but they arent...

any advertisement which are hoax and false should be reported...

i remembered there used to be PANA truth in advertising, does this still exist?

or big companies paid them off

Unlike other countries, advertising in the Philippines is self-regulating. We have the Association of Accredited Advertising Agencies of the Philippines (4A's P for short ->AAAAP :P)that polices their own ranks.

There is a very fine line between effective marketing and false advertising. Pag sinabing speed up to 384kb/s, baka umabot nga don once every month for 10 secs-which wouldnt make it false advertising. Tulad ng mga binebenang "health drink" yes these are healthy indeed, but they are not any healthier than ordinary water, medyo misleading lang yung claim btu legally wala ata tayong laban dyan.

384 kilobits divided by 8 bits/byte = 48 kilobytes per second.

Saka yung mga food supplements like Circulan, etc.
