Isn't that what I am saying na you could live in a 500m home but still lose your lifestyle.
Napunta na kasi sa discussion na living in a P500m home doesn't make you rich. IMO in the PH that makes u rich but can lose it in one generation
Pero doc who wants to do that. Kami kahit naghihirap na kami we refuse to sell at a price na "nakaka insulto" and my lola selects buyers din. We can't afford to buy each other out.

when you experience on a regular basis, the literal hunger in your estomago, while lounging in the palatial veranda of your ancestral home...
thoughts will creep into your consciousness...
and if you are not strong enough as to dispel the tentaciones...
all you heirs can band together and agree to sell (part of, para hindi masyado caro?) the property, and divide the spoils equitably among yourselves.

The RPT of a Dasma house is probably similar to the net income of an upper middle class Filipino.
I agree that it makes you rich for at least one generation and can easily be squandered
Doc joke samin yan. Sabi nga namin sa house ng lola ko na for sale, samin heirs one owns a kitchen, another a room, who gets the bathroom. Sa house we cant subdivide that or sell partially. Sa agri properties we prefer not to subdivide kasi issue na naman who gets the better cut.
We are selling but no buyers or hindi magka sundo.

kasi naman,
the other huge landowners are also passing away or have passed away already.
and the heirs have no interest...
kaya naman, maraming large tracts of land on sale, but no buyers...
sige! pag narinig nang DM or City of Fed yan...
heh heh.
we'll soon have new cities sprouting in the literal middles of nowhere...

My Mom was saying that nga the other day na like sila ng Dad ko, they moved to Makati in the 60s when their parents bought their home. I think yun ang mass migration to Makati from Manila. Most of those passed away na at yun generation ng parents ko na heirs are seniors na. Tapos can't afford to buy out.

I don't know which part of Manila but my Mom told me Manila daw dati ang "nice" area then it became magulo so people left.
My Lola went to Assumption pero Manila campus, ganun siya ka ancient haha. Pero dati maganda daw sa Manila. It's the most developed place.

history buffs and ancient ones, would know that in the past, it was fashionable to live in manila.
some of them big houses may still be seen. maceda st. and environs. yung mga hindi pa binenta, and those which survived the war.
marami kasi, binenta the big houses and the neighborhood got converted into smaller cuts + concrete structures or wooden cheaper structures.
before the japanese time, pasay was the suburbs where expats resided, and makati was undeveloped grassland. as late as the before-1970s, that site of makati cinema square was horse grassland.
and today's ayala ave and paseo de roxas, were the nielson airport runways of yesterdecades'.
also, ayala triangle sported a baseball field.
but when it became fashionable, the capable ones moved to makati, converting it to what it was, in the 60s and 70s, and later, to today's, c/o big developers.
back in the day, ayala was atrracting big building development in their area, via attractive deals.

you're welcome, po.
now off to trueQC.
quezon city officially came into being in 1939.
but as far back as the late 1500s, there was already san francisco del monte, or frisco.
founded back then, it became a pilgrimage site for the laity, who would brave the then-dangerous, robberous route on foot.
even today, one would easily notice the pedestrian-difficult up-and-down lay of the land (road), as one drove there in their airconditioned SUVs.
now, if one imagined the dusty, dirt road, swampy mud if it rained, tall and thick spiny plants on both sides, bandidos hiding behind... you get the idea. and yes! walang jollibee at walang ilaw kapag gabi! and no flushing toilets!
heh heh.

OG sugardaddy daw ni Ivana. Jerry Sy from Bacolod. Kilala daw ito doon as a rich person. This was nung hindi pa sikat si Ivana.
There was a time na ang nagpapasok ng pera sa kanila is yung childstar acting gigs ni Mona (younger sis). Tumigil lang nung nag take off na yung vlogging career ni Ivana. Mona started in 2011. So maybe during those years na hindi pa sila mayaman rumaraket si Ivana as a sugarbaby.

Kelangan niya magraket and she experienced rejection even sa looks department kasi maliit siya.

heh heh.
someone once wrote,
"for a movie to be successful, three elements come to mind: royalty (money), ***, and medicine."
e.g., "lady chatterly's liver".
You can never have enough money. If she can get a man to spend money for all her and her familiy's expenses. Likes and needs. Then why not? habang pwede pa niya gawin. Rh di hinde mabawasan yun pera niya.
