Perhaps "Game of Thrones" has convinced other production companies to finally start looking at the vast untapped libraries of adult fantasy novels out there.

I read the books. In fact i read the elfstones of shannara a couple of times. My kid just finished reading the trilogy. Tamang tama i downloaded the first two episodes.

Its a copy of LOTR in all aspects but fun enough and good writing.

Nice read. A good example of the genre. Hopefully Terry Brooks will not have the same deadline pressures as George R. R. Martin.
