Come to think of it, parang bihira na masyado Ang nag- jujump from high school to the pros. Maybe it's because lucrative na din Ang mag college since pwede na endorsements sa us ncaa unlike before na strikto Sila about that.
Parang Europeans na Lang Ang derecho na laro sa pros since may sarili Silang clubs cum sports academies and non-existent Ang high profile college inter sports competitions.

On Prime, Three Body, the Chinese version. I enjoyed the English version so I'm watching this, 30 eps though and I'm at ep 4 only but nice.

The northman (2022)
Director Robert eggers' depiction of ancient viking culture in this movie is said to be pretty spot-on. That alone makes the movie a worthwhile watch.
Anyà Taylor -joy has lost her innocent beauty. She's no longer fresh faced as she was in "the vvitch".

[SPOILERS for "The Witch" (2015)]
Thomasin (Anya Taylor-Joy): "Black Phillip, I conjure thee to speak to me. Speak as thou dost speak to Jonas and Mercy. Dost thou understand my English tongue? Answer me."
Black Phillip: "What dost thou want?"
Thomasin : "What canst thou give?"
Black Phillip: "Wouldst thou like the taste of butter? A pretty dress? Wouldst thou like to live deliciously?"
Thomasin: "Yes."
Black Phillip: "Wouldst thou like to see the world?"
Thomasin: "What will you from me?"
Black Phillip: "Dost thou see a book before thee? Remove thy shift."
Thomasin: "I cannot write my name."
Black Phillip: "I will guide thy hand."

Burn after reading (2008)
The movie is a different kind of funny.
The all-star cast is a joy to watch especially since they're not playing the usual Hollywood glamour roles they're known for...except maybe for Frances mcdormand.
I see myself watching this again. 😅

Criminal : UK (2019)
A good example of how excellent script writing and superb acting can make an all talk, no action scene tv show very enthralling.
The king (2019)
The 1st time I watched it, I really wasn't impressed. But then I stumbled upon a video about the battle of Agincourt recently, and I guess I appreciated it a bit more when I viewed the film the second time around.
Re its historical authenticity, It's apparently a re-issue of shakespeare's "Henry V" , So it's historically muddled to begin with.
Monster The Ed Gein Story
I had no idea who this was. Surprised to find out that he was the inspiration for characters in the movies Psycho, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, & Silence of the Lambs & was instrumental too in the catching of Ted Bundy.
1. A House of dynamite
Intense and compelling for moi. But the Director, Kathryn Bigelow, is taking a lot of hits from critics and fans alike. But I do kind of like it though.
I think it's probably because of the ending and I'm guessing , it also hit a nerve re the superiority complex of a lot of Americans.
2. El Camino
I guess I'm finally done w/ the "breaking bad" franchise
