I used to have no interest in them,. But, I'm smart enough to know they're not all meant for kids. I've "censored" a bunch for my elder daughter. Since then, I've grown to like a few:

    Black Lagoon
    Space Cruiser Yamato/Starblazers
Gintama - the closest to kiddie stuff I watch.

cowboy bebop, ghost in the shell, millennium actress, dragon ball, slamdunk, samurai x, yuyu hakusho, ff7 advent children, OVAs by makoto shinkai, robotech, ...

Most of those animes broadcast by Animax are for adults. Dapat lang ibawal sa mga bata.

    1. Initial D: about "compensated dating"....si Natsuki Mogi (girlfriend ni Takumi)....high school student going out with older men.

    2. GTO: Onizuka is obviously a pervert. Many of the scenes are quite ***ual in context.

    3. Gunslinger Girl: Cutey girls about 10-13 years-old killer/assassin?

    4. Air Gear....ganoon din.

    5. Cardcaptor Sakura: Suprised? Akala ko, ok ito....but no. There are lots of topics about

    Student/teacher relationships. Sakura's parents, Toya/Ms.Kaho Mizuki, Eriol/Mizuki, Rika/Her Teacher
    Boy/Boy: Yukito/Toya
    Girl/girl: Sakura/Tomoyo

    The list goes on....

But since, adult ako...I watch these naman.

Give me mecha anime anyday, especially old school Gundam (UC timeline). And the original Macross too.

In addition, these are just some of the anime I've come to like over time:

    - Ghost in The Shell
    - Neon Genesis Evangelion
    - Taiho Shichauzo
    - Ranma 1/2
    - Chobits
    - Cowboy Bebop
    - Eyeshield 21 (quite informative on American football)
    - Capeta (teaches that entering motorsports isn't as simple as it sounds)
    - Sgt. Keroro (love those comical references to other anime, especially Gundam!)
    - Mirumo de Pon
    - Yakitate!! Japan
    - School Rumble (ewan, natatawa talaga ako dito eh. Must be the cheesiness...)

i like the way some anime right now are getting a westerly theme such as cowboy bebop and gunslinger girl. it's just like watching 'ole gangster movies but only in ink. animes such as those makes me think of going down a flight of stairs in an office chair firing a p90
Damn, son! Where'd you find this?
