My 1992 Sentra Super Saloon AT

    Got my Sentra like this

Running, no brakes. needs overhauling, has no smoke from exhaust though.

No wiper, palyado, with faded paint but very fresh body. Has no kalampag. and still astonishing AC system which is still about as cool as my Accent even though it was neglected.

1st owned but was junked. The previous owner had lots of other cars.

Had 1st overhauled the engine and brakes and drained the ATF.

The GA16DE was my college bestfriend. My war car back then was a grey 1993 Sentra Super Saloon (B13 gen1) Manual transmission

Overhauled and set right 'timing'... wala na pala sya sa timing nung nakuha ko.

After being done with the engine. It's time to freshen up the outer shell. Now it is for repaint

still needs rubbing compound, liha and buffing.

    Still a work in progress.

Had recently replaced pilot lamps, rear garnish(from youdexter) 1 pc injector(from j3ck-j3ck), alternator, brake master, hydrovac and wiper motors (bassjerk).

Now in Streetspecs for electricals diagnosis and repairs (done) and now for tranny replacement. SCPH has helped me a lot in sourcing out parts for my Sentra. Long live SCPH and our Sentras. *Cheers*
Those were some SCPH/CNS peeps who helped me with my Sentra restoration project.

December 30, 2011 bought a surplus JDM tranny. now runs and shifts smoothly.

    Feb 8, yesterday.

Repaired Steering Clamp Bushing for 500 bucks for 2 pc and 700 petot for labor.

No more play and front suspension kalampag. Beri gud jab at banawe

deciding to further improve the interior. i went to a common friend's accessory shop and decided to put some LEDs on

    some ini-meenie-mini modz..

*New LED Gauge and AT indicator lights
    *New Ceramic HL Sockets
    *New Crystal White Bulbs
*Raised front and rear plates (used tilting plate holder at the rear)with acrylic covers
    *Steering wheel cover

bought a roll of 3M double sided too, to put on some missing mouldings and badges. completed the center caps too.

at pag sinuswerte ka nga naman, got a good deal out of a good used Sony GT262S CD/MP3/WMA Headunit. Sariwang sariwa, got it dirt cheap and installed for free.

Thank you Bro for the money I burned yesterday hehehehe

    Really happy with my Sentra

    Targa x652c Seps

at a good price at the other forums hehehe
Good day SCPh! update ko lang. Feb 26, 2012

Had a few hours yesterday for few needed repairs.

My Sentra's been leaking PS fluid for a month, just noticed this recently cos the car is only being used 5-8 times (max) a month.

Headed to banawe for a quick fix, a surplus good cond pressurized power steering hose

1K for the hose, 400 bucks for the labor, some 200 again for the ATF/PS Fluid.

    No-more leaks now

Also, found out that my wiper washer motor isn't working. Since, I'm already in the area and i know of a 'suki' who sells motors for a cheap price. I decided to bag one that day. So, i could save on hasle of going back again.

Got my motor for 150 petot. I can't swallow a 250 labor charge for this, so i'll probably do it myself. on some of my free time again.

Had my AC checked last week and was diagnosed to be needing a new Expansion Valve and Dryer, so i decided to get them as well.

Had my compressir oil flushed as well. And the whole system overhauled and cleaned.

Now my AC is just epic!

New cars should be ashamed if they are not as cool as this one.

I hope i had more time yesterday, I'd like to have it tinted and my new sound system be installed. That's probably for next sunday

    Will post pics later...

    before

after.... that's a new PS hose.

    surplus washer motor 150petot only

    then AC bits...

Compressor Oil, Receiver Dryer and Expansion Valve

-quite amazingly, the original compressor is still strong. pumps cool air that would put new cars to shame...

Dirt cheap Sony Explode GT262S i got in Banawe, some few weeks back. It'll be replaced with a Pioneer HU next week
Got an even better offer ^

My next project, OEM power antenna to function again

    my Vicki

    Toyota Vios 1.5G

    with 'Pina' aka Hyundai Accent

Thank you ************** for this hehehe...
got a really awesome deal for this set
dirt cheap and still has 95% T.L!!! FTW!

215/40ZR17 offset 38 has no rubbing issues with Vios. ideally, a perfect fit would be 205/45R17. But 38 offset made it easy for the car. No rubbings. Although the look is slightly rather canted outside.

DIY fitting on a rainy day

remove mudguards and rain gutters; add euro plate and frame and ducktail plus the velbrets

Paid about 1km/l for this bigger set. Btw, the tires were Nankang NS-II's and this made me believe in Nankang's. Great value for money. Performance to price ratio is really very good.

Balak ko sana talaga manual, kaso wala ako makitang sariwang unit. Ang nagustuhan ko sa unit ko, was that madaming ibang oto yung owner. as in neglected unit. not much used, all original and 1st owned. yung AC gumana kahit aminado seller na about a year syang naka stock. it didnt even have a battery diskargado na kasi di man lang na start. buti nag start pa din. and it seems di laspag, and im correct soon as we were able to 1st drive it.

*onewaytrip, yup sir. all stock look muna. kasi iba talaga appeal ng old school, brings back memories.
    just like these

    UMA
    1996 Mazda Familia GLX

    -1.6L DOHC 16valve EFI
    -AT
-all power, ABS, fogs, 60/40 split seats
    -M. Beige color
    -my old buddy

I miss this car. This still topples my Vios or Accent for fun to drive and it even rides better. It pulls great for a matic, although I already replaced the tranny with a JDM surplus. After I did, I actually saw improvements of 1-2km/l in city driving....hmmmm. The reason why I sourced JDM surplus tranny for my Sentra as well. Artic-grade AC too. I didn't have tints but I could survive Manila Mid day heat. Got few rust over the wheel wells and the paint is generally faded. But hey! It drives nice and that's all that matters to me...;p
Too bad, I dont have much budget during ownership of UMA, I could have done a lot more to it.

I miss it so much. I hope I could get a Lynx soon to be somehow be reunited with you again :-)))

Nope, Wont sell my Enkeis. Hehehe I sold the Velbrets. Saka napakagaan ng Enkei, kaya mas OK performance. Also yung 1.5G kasi can't go lower than 15" mags kasi malaki discs rotors. Hindi kasya 14s. Balak ko sana mag hubs na lang dati kasi euro theme hehehe... ano trip mo ducktail? hehehe

    Back to the Sentra...

Interior. Stock with white seat covers.

Dash with then stock Headunit, which surprising still lights completely and LCD which is still legibly readable.

Crystal white bulbs--- not so good, might revert to stock soon. It wasted my ceramic socket.

Ceramic sockets, for higher illumination power.

Rear tilting plate, cause stock plate placement is too compressed.

    2005 Toyota Corolla Altis 1.6J

This car started as a daily appliance. Gasgas galore, faded paint, faded tints. Everyday workhorse of a man who doesn't care about his car. He does PMS faithfully though. The car runs perfectly but looks like a war car. I was assigned to do it a makeover hehehe

Uncle wants subtle, formal looking everyday car.

We tried putting 17s Rota Tuners. But he realize he wasn't so comfortable with 40 series tires.

so definitely no 17s on the menu, but 15's are too common and is standard on top line Altis E120s.

I decided 16s on Taiwan Altis Sport

OEM, 16 inches and lightweight. That shouldn't cost him FC sacrifices as with the Tuners. 4 pcs Toyo Proxes with 205/55VR16 as in modern compacts footprints too.

And some inspiration from that model as well
