I recently test drove a mazda 2 1.5 AT sedan and a ford fiesta 1.6 AT sedan and i must agree, mas maluwag and comfortable ang m2 both for the driver and passenger in addition to having a smoother transition when shifting gears. The dealer said i can get 16-18km/l with the m2, but it seems farfetched compared to previous posts. Makes me think twice because the dealer seems to be busting my chops just to make a sale. Sirs and madams, may i ask for your first hand FC experience? Thank you very much.

Guys, tanong lang napansin ko kasi kaunti na lang yung coolant ko (lagpas na sa low) and next month pa yung PMS ko sa mazda alabang.

Anong brand ng coolant ang the best ilagay? Tama po di ba half water half coolant lang ang ilalagay?

Worry ko lang kasi baka maubusan at magoverheat ang MZ2 ko sa april pa ko punta sa MAZDA alabang.

My SA before quoted me 12km/l city driving. 16-18km/l is a bit of an overestimate. I mean, it IS possible with pure highway driving, but you'll have to watch the throttle.

My 2's actual FE:
City: 9-10km/l on average. My route is Parañaque to EDSA Ortigas, so there's quite a bit of traffic.
Highway: 14.5km/l. Recorded this during an NLEX/SCTEX run. 120km/h average, bursts of speed much higher than that.

I should make it clear though that I do not drive conservatively - at all.:D I make heavy use of the Sport/Hold mode to overtake, and I rev the engine past 4k rpm when the stretch ahead is clear just to hear that sweet, sweet hum of the MZR. So I guess it is very possible to attain better figures than what I'm getting.

5.5k for the seatcovers, 1.8k for the sidings. Had it made in a small upholstery shop in BF. A bit of a risk, pero the craftsmanship turned out ok.
