Makukuha na namin mamaya yung mazda2

nako... so it's a bad idea to bring it to a long highway drive (as in papuntang subic bay) 2 days from now?

Should be fine Just vary the speed every so often. On SCTEX you can play around from 80-120 km/h with no real detriment to safety.

    Congrats on the car BTW

Mukhang mabenta Mazda 2 locally ha?!

Eto yung previous local reviews ng Mazda 2 na I think it helped
this little car in gaining good publicity among Mazda and Non Mazda fans.

Hi newbie to this forum. I'M NOT A HAPPY MAZDA2 OWNER.

I 've had my M2 since jan15 of this year. got it from MAZDA MAKATI. with only 1900K+, I'v notice a couple of things i"m not happy about: FC nad suspension

Fuel consumption is 8K/L city driving (usually makati-ortigas, makati-QC via C5 route). the M3s FC is the same, based on M3 owners from clubmazdaphil forum and from officemates. Another fellow forumer from clubmazda also has this problem. But his is even worse. his M2 consumes 7.5K/L. In other words i got a smaller, less powerful car, that consumes as much fuel as a bigger and faster car.

the problem with the suspension wasn't noticeable at first. But it has started to go down on the left side. muka syang may flat tire if you'll be seeing it from behind. I had mazda makati check the problem yesterday. the distance between the fender and the tire on the right side, is higher by 1.5-1.75 inches. Its uneven, slanting down on the left side.

Sayang. Sa amin pa naman ginawa yung zoom zoom mazda jingle. Its dissapointing for it to show signs of wearing, since most of the time, i only drive from makati to the cubao area. I'l be bringing it back on wednesday. I'm hoping all goes well.

any advice on how i should handle this?

na try mo na reducing tire pressure? i think yung naka preset sa dealer yung maximum which is 30.

ano gas gamit mo? petron, shell, caltex? ano octane rating?

will be posting my city FC by saturday, hoping for the best...

usually, brand new cars register higher fc. wait till naka 5000km ka na then you'll see the real fc of your car.

plus, puro congested areas byahe mo.... which will result in higher fc... try to be easy on the gas pedal. Mazdas are fun to drive so you might get carried away sometimes...

Yes this is true. I'm always carried away by the fun driving factor of Mazda cars.

You'll forget to conserve fuel. Anti-nature nga lang.

tips para medyo mag improve fuel consumption, baka makatulong lang

check the recommended tire pressure, dont go lower
switch to fully synthetic engine oil
pag nde naman mainit wag na mag aircon
try different gasoline like blaze na walang ethanol, mas mahal lang nga per liter...

parang ang lakas kasi masyado sa gas, same lang ng 2.0 ng accord ko...

finally... after a 6 hour wait yesterday due to ATD signatory problems...

already got 132 km after just one day of driving (including an airport duty)

102 km (mixed highway/city) of that equated to one blip on the fuel meter (which included edsa and espanya parking lot situations)

it is such a zippy little car

and that ridiculous shade of red is louder and brighter than that of the yaris. hehehe

I think the term you were looking for is "angrier."

I just hope your angry red paint doesn't fade to pink as time goes by. The sun loves doing that.

Congrats sa new M2 sir scharnhorst! Iakyat na ng Tagaytay yan, haha!

I haven't seen a sedan yet..

My 2 cents. i first noticed the hatchback neon green M2 at Mazda Quezon Avenue when I was getting something from Honda Quezon Avenue and checked it out. Seems ok but it's a bit smaller than the Jazz.
Then I saw the sedan at Vmall, Greenhills. the length is ok but the width is narrow especially when compared to the Honda City.
