ganun ba kababa yun? grabe naman sa mahal ng gas price ngayon,that's too low a consumption. mine goes for 6-7 km/lt, wil try it sa hi-way. is there anyway to make this car fuel economizer besides driving techniques? do we have shops that specialize in fuel economy for this car model? please help anyone!

hi new to the forums, I was just really concerned about my fuel consumption
I already posted earlier at the 323/Protege/famillia thread, but here goes

Mazda 323 98-99 GLXi
16valve DOHC

4-6km/liter mixed
had tune-up done
has headers, muffler, filter and intake installed >>> does this make me consume more gas? I got the car with those installed already
or could it be something with the ECU or engine?

Dude ganyan talaga mga auto. Di naman lahat aabot sa expectations mo. Wala din makakapagsabi kung ano ia-adjust ng FC mo. Depends on how you drive yan and kung san mo dinadala ang auto mo. If ayaw mo magastos sa gas, keep the car in your garage :D

mazda3 1.6 HB, 6-7 km/L with bad traffic, 7-8 km/L otherwise.

it has 16,000 km on it so i assume maluwag na yun.

that's not so bad, civic's get 8-9 only. if you want real economy the 1.6L class cars won't give it to you, you need a diesel or the City/Jazz.

how about the tribute's fc? am interested with it...good bye at P979K (mazda makati) for an suv like this. sales rep said its at 8-10km city driving. is this true?
am driving an isuzu alterra (2008, 4x4, AT) & an isuzu crosswind xuv 2002, city driving is both at 7.5km. i want sana my new car to be higher than this...mahal na fuel eh, kahit diesel (though kakaroll-back lang...u'll never know when it wud skyrocket again!)

wag po kayo maniniwala sa mga sales rep, they exaggerate things..maski yung sa mga eco drive test...kase controlled environment yun..

mas mabuti na tanungin mo ang mga naka Tribby kung magkano FC nila...

sir, ung 9km/L po ba ay naka AC po ba kayo dun? sa akin ksi 8km/L pero di ko gamit AC dun. pag naka AC ako nasa 6-7km/L lang. 600+km pa lang ang odo ko. mag iimprove pa kaya ito? TIA.
