    Where did you see this, sir? Which dealership? If indeed true, this shows Bermaz's dedication to customer welfare & satisfaction....I've yet to hear of such from the dealership local to me.

    Apparently this is not true. Wonder who drafted it. Made an inquiry & got a reply thru SMS:

    "From Customer Service Division of Mazda PH:

    On behalf of Mazda PH, we would like to clearly state that ALL CX5 KE (previous model) and the all new 2017 CX5 KF here in the Philippines, both models have no such technical service bulletin nor service information coming from Mazda Corporation JPN regarding this battery concern."

    Thanks for the clarification. I got it from a Mazda forum. That's reassuring.

    Hi,

    I´m a bit new here but hope that someone could help me out!
    I didn´t manage to find a "general" thread for the CX-5.

    I´ve been looking at the Mazda CX-5 built between 2012-2014 as I don´t have budget to buy a newer.
    Gas is what I´ve looked at since I will drive the car for less than an hour today. Not even sure if there is a diesel version(?) =)

    Is there anything special I should be vary of when it comes to this model built between the said years?
    Naturally, if it has a quite a lot of mileage it´s a bit cheaper, is that something I should avoid?

    All kinds of advice are greatly appreciated!

    Thx,

    //Johan

    Hi Johan,

    Its also within my interest to get a Mazda. When I was showroom hopping I found a salesman who has a guy who is selling his 2016 CX5. White. 2.5L. Mileage is somewhat low pa, since the owner is a foreigner who is always out of the country. Look for RJ in Mazda Makati. Hopefully he can give you a better offer for the car that's well within your budget. 30% depreciation rate first year and 10% succeeding. ( i could be wrong, please take my word with a grain of salt). Hope that helps.

    Call OrangeVirusTuningPH +639174726847, they once offered the EFB from Johnson Controls for Start/Stop vehicles.
