September 14th, 2013 03:31 AM #1Ya, dealers will charge a lot of extras and you'll end up spending 50-100k over the SRP especially with 3.2L Ranger due to limited supply.
A good friend has one and feature wise, it's quite good. But be prepared for a very bumpy ride due to the suspension set up.

September 14th, 2013 08:29 PM #2Sa mga nag-test drive at current owners ng CX-5, sulit ba talaga ang 2.5 engine, considering the 233k difference in price?
2.5L AWD SPORT Php 1,685,000
2.0L 2WD AT Php 1,452,000

September 15th, 2013 03:22 PM #5Guys,
Planning also to buy CX-5 pero yung 4x2 lang. Meron ba kayong idea how much yung pinakamalaking discount and san branch? Also kung ano mga freebies. Thanks.

September 15th, 2013 07:42 PM #6mukhang Grand Touring ang specs na pala sa pinas pala.
Dito sa Sydney (new migrant lang), sobrang haba ng list ng variants ng CX-5. Here is the list na pinagpipilian ko (walang pang Diesel to. In AUD)
FWD maxx 33,684 = 1,347,360
maxx sport 37,538 = 1,501,520
AWD maxx 36,774 = 1,470,960
maxx sport 40,628 = 1,625,120
Grand touring 48,015 = 1,920,600
Akera 50,105 = 2,004,200
I just tested 2.0 and 2.5 and I have felt the difference in power. The Mazda guy that went with me during the test drive demonstrated first the features and here are the thing that I liked:
1. So small turning radius/circle
2. Barely recognized the engine being turned off with i-stop
3. Tested this scenario - complete stop, turned the steering wheels all the way on the right (driver's side), and then quickly and fully stepped on the gas and the vehicle was still controllable.
4. Tested the responsiveness of the breaks/ABS by driving quickly and pretended that he was about to hit someone and have to quickly avoid hitting that person and quickly stop also.
5. during uphill, going at average 80-90km/hour, the vehicle cornering is good. He used manual mode that time.
6. iStop is very responsive also.
7. The engine noise when he allowed me to press the gas all the way down + the extra kick in power when I pressed it further more (there is some kind of a hidden switch on the gas - parang double-click kumbaga).
byd seal5 dmi. that coolant tank is the same setup like in the fords. plastic coolant lines :twak2:...
