seen a cx 7 kanina along macapagal blvd. it was a stunner definitely!
Mazda or Ford cars usually have only minimal trip computation error.
My Mazda 3 has an average error of only +0.3 km/L from the actual/manual computation.
Most probably, your CX-7's actual FC is (7.092-0.3) = 6.79 km/L for the 28km travelled moderate to heavy traffic condition.
I think future CX-7s fitted with SKY-G(Gasoline Engines) with i-Stop tech. can improve fuel efficiency to approx. 9 km/L(35% improvement, much more if SKY-D(Diesel engine) is used) with the same traffic conditions.
But these engines are not yet available until 2011.
Maybe that time, I'm alreay a member of the soon to be formed Club CX-7 Philippines!![]()
Congrats and thanks guys for this thread. will be a future CX-7 owner also, probably first week of January. Hope to learn a lot from this thread.![]()
just want to share: i went to my favorite car accessory shop this morning to look for a bucket type rear cargo bed liner. of course wala pa yung pang CX-7 talaga. so i asked them what's the next best thing and they got one for the innova. the one they gave me is for the whole cargo bed of the innova with the third row seats folded up.
it fits almost exactly save for a small 5% bend on the sides which is probably due to the design of the wheel well of the CX-7. the width (both on the short side near the 2nd row seat and the long side near the rear door) are almost the same but give about 1 to 2 inches more to the CX-7.
