Personal kong opinion is just surrender the car to the bank. Tapos na yan,
don't sell properties pag ganyan. I happen to know someone who surrendered
6 cars and 2 toyota coasters. Basta hatid mo lang.

    Wag mo pilitin sarili mo.

As for the detailing ng flooded car basta wag i start
yan hangang hindi pa natutuyo ok pa computer box. 3000 pesos ang charge
ng labor para sa nalubog na sasakyan plus ang parts. 10 cars nakapila
sa neighbor ko na auto electrician.

Tama. Kung saan sya masaya 'suportahan taka'.

But sometimes 'life happens'. So you have to make adjustments.

Like living with just one vehicle. Kaya mo naman mawala isang car.

Temporary lang naman yon. Pag na fully paid mo na van, bili ka na lang uli.

i feel bad for you, bro. . .pinakamaganda na nga siguro na isurrender mo na lang at makipag-usap sa bangko on which will be the most convenient way for you to get out of this predicament. . .like you said, nabanggit mo na sa kanila na binaha yung kotse. . .

let's put aside comments that will not help in the purpose of the ts in opening this thread. . .don't judge a man until you have walked 20 moons in his moccasin

Pinaka problema ng TS are the issued PDC. If he surrenders the car I doubt if the bank will accept and cancel his PDC. If they call on his PDC and insufficient ang funds di talbog na yun. Gugulo buhay niya.

If you need to keep the car (and this goes for all cars which submerged during Ondoy wreaking havoc) then clean (wash) with water the inside. Dry as best you can. Drain all fluids (see your manual on how to drain your car) except maybe brake and radiator. You can remove all fluids if you want to. Then wait until you can have it repaired or disposed. BTW wd40 on the alternator would prevent corrosion.

    to kc,

the advice of senna is what iam thinking. even if you already talked to your agent, pwede naman na mabanga ang kotse mo habang nasa iyo, kahit naka-park yan pwede banggain yan ng kahit na sino. With this scheme, you can claim na sa insurance.

next, you can still try to dry it and try to start it. Pag-umandar iyan, use it to look for a job. Always remember that God will work in his own mysterious ways. I am not kidding, you may find a job using your car. Always give strength on what is left behind. Maybe after a month you will be paying your next due payment and succeeding payments because of this car. Always remember that rains (water) always brings blessings. It is hard to think about it now because of so many things to prioritize, but look always at the bright side, and surely you will have the solution.

clean it, dry it, have a good mechanic(not exactly from casa) to inspect it. Kahit sa Banawe marami nagpapagawa ng ganyan na problem because of the same reason that you have, submerge computer box. Pards, aandar yan.

    good luck. think positive

Yung family friend namin na mataas ang posisyon dyan sa isang dealer sa otis nabanggit samin na, nakikipag usap daw sa kanila yung mga bangko na gawing reasonable ang singil sa repairs ng mga nalubog dahil nga matunog yung ganitong plano ng mga nasalanta and for humanitarian reasons na rin at the same time magiging beneficial sa lahat.

*kcvega this is only my suggestion:

why not choose to let go of the less important vehicle (my choice would be the van) since you might only need one vehicle for transport, unless the van is used for other means like business and not for family use only.

since the van is covered by the acts of God clause, why not try to sell the van after claiming from the insurance and use the money for the repairs of the car and the damage to your home?

it may or may not be an outright replacement but this should cover the expenses for the repairs of the mazda and use that until you can afford to buy a new one.

[quote=1D4LV;1331929]i think blaming the TS now is late. it will not help. the reason why he posted here is to ask for advice, not to be blamed.

what i suggest is to talk to your account officer for options. and work for a win-win scenario. kung kailangan bayaran yung difference as what galactus said, i settle mo na lang kung yung ang best way, even if yung settlement ng difference is kailangang hulugan, then so be it. it would be better instead of having your check payments stopped or having your checks bounce, which is a more serious case.

selling properties specially the family house is not advised. mas priority mo dapat ang bahay kesa sa oto.

+ 1 on this, and talk to bank regarding your case.

Bro hindi na kita sisisihin, halos ganyan din sitwasyon ko noon. Mazda 3 din 10mos old sya..what i did was, binenta ko sa kamag anak ko then sya nagtuloy ng monthly mortgage..

Then Malay mo, after two months or earlier, magkaroon ka ng work ulit at makaahon ulit sa mga problems mo. At kung kaya mo ng tanggapin yung depreciated value ng M3, ibenta mo na lang(kagaya ginawa ni actor21) or look for good settlement ulit sa bangko.

GOD Bless at sana di na dumaan pa dito si PEPENG.
