Which Car Should I Buy? Mazda 3 R 2.0 2005 or Ford Focus (Hatchback)

hehehe.

Isa sa mga priority ko yun. Yun muna yung titingnan ko during checking ng auto once makahanap na ako ng mabibilhan. alam naman nating maraming sasakyan ang tinamaan ni Ondoy..kaya daming magbebenta ngayon ng sasakyan..

Yun ngayon mahirap pag bibili ng 2nd hand na sasakyan.. I'll just be very cautious para iwas sa problema.. First car ko pa naman pag nakabili na ako..

basta all I can say, eh talagang matindi acceleration nung M3 at Focus. Sa totoo naman kasi, iisa lang naman ang Mazda at Ford so they share the same quality. So yung pinaka-problem mo nalang talaga kailangan mong makasiguro na hindi "flooded" car yung bibilhin hehe.

Hindi kayang itago ng detailing ang mga kalawang na makikita sa engine bay so ito lang ang una mong titingnan.

Sa interior nga pala magbabanggit ako ng feedback sa M3. Very Modern talaga, I like the orange leds din. Pero ddarkster, how about yung 500k mo, ipang-down mo sa bagong 2010 Mazda 3? May facelift kasi hahaha, although not sure kung lalabas na nga ba ng 2010 itong facelifted model.

First: Style (Mas lamang sa akin si Mazda)

2nd : Performance (Tie lang sa akin si mazda at focus)

3rd : Versatility (No idea which one of these two cars has the advantage)

4th : Fuel Consumption (Malakas daw ang mazda 3 sabi nila pero depende sa model ng makina yun, though 2.0 kukuwanin ko kaya sigurado malakas kumain sya. May advantage ata si Focus dito...if i am right..)


But all in all, Mas matimbang sa akin si mazda 3. Dream car ko kasi. Kaya naman pinagpipilian ko sya kay Focus kasi parehas silang sporty look sa akin..May mga cons at pros din naman si Focus and vice versa kay Mazda 3. I just want to make sure that the final decision im going to make is good enough to buy the cars i like. Ayoko lang kasi magsisi, that's all. That is why i want everybodys opinion para meron akong leads/basis for the decision i am going to make.

In my point of view:

1st: Style - tie

2nd : Performance - Focus turbo-diesel wins (more power!)

3rd : Versatility - tie

4th : Fuel Consumption - Focus turbo-diesel wins (much better fuel economy)

Actually i found this link selling his mazda 3 2.0 L version naman sya.

Maganda setup nya, nai-customized na sya. Pasok sa budget ko. Di ko lang alam kung maabutan ko pa sya next year although hindi naman totally na kukuhanin ko na sya. Tinitingnan ko din kasi yung mileage nya. Medyo mataas na pero good deal naman yung auto nya.

boss ddarkster, ayos itong M3 na ito! 60k km odo is not that bad, malamang binabyahe din kasi papunta province but tolerable pa rin. (not doubtful yung odo reading at least mukhang hindi tampered). madami ring upgrades tapos pasok sa budget mo hehe. (ayun yun eh)

mga gagawin mo nalang siguro.. Change oil, Timing belt, replace spark plugs tapos... harurot mo na ito hehe.

how about umutang ka muna sa mga parents mo hehe, madali nalang naman matuto mag-drive.

for styling, I think the "kinetic" design of the current focus is quite comparable to that of the mazda 3.

personally, if the diesel focus was in the comparo, that's it right there! a torquey engine with a DSG tranny's hard to beat

Nope, Mazda 3 has no vents for rear passenger unlike the current Focus.

Yes, sumasayad yun Mazda 3 ko sa carpark sa tapat ng Glorietta 3, carpark namin sa opis maraming kaskas sa semento mula sa Mazda 3. :P

Tungkol sa pagiging mababa -

Medyp napansin ko din ito pero sinukat ko and hindi nmn noticeable pero sumasayad nga. I think its more to do with the design of the grill. 'Clean-cut' kasi. Di katulad nung civic ko dati na mejo slanted pataas..

I dunno if you got the meaning of what I wanted to say but.. yeah.. that..

Although - personally, mas gusto ko design ng ford. Mas mahal lang kasi ng 100k so nag mazda3 na lang din ako. Can't say I regret the decision though. The car serves me well..
