my car got flooded last month. dinala namin sa talyer at pinaayos.tumatakbo na sya ngayon. the problem is yung speedometer at RPM nya ay hinde gumagana. sira na ba ito o may mga sensor o fuse lang na di gumagana. sabi ng mechanic sira na daw. he charges us 37 k lahat sa cleanining at repair ng computer box daw...sa mazda familia ko.

lahat po gumagana.pagkatapos bahain at ayusin sa shop, yun na lang ang hinde gumagana. ano kayang sensor ang sira d2.

yung 37k ay binayad ko sa mechanic as payment sa pag ayos nya sa car ko.palit sya ng belts at oil.saka yung pinampaayos nya daw sa computer box ko. ang hinde na lang nya nagagawa ay yung speedometer at RPM nya. any idea kung sensor o yung assembly ang sira.tnx

hmm your familia gauge cluster has its own microprocessor,
you can check if the cluster is defective by entering its diagnostic mode:
1. disconnect negative terminal of car battery.
2. open driver side door, close other 3 doors then wait for 30 sec.
3. reconnect battery
4. turn ignition key to ON
5. push driver side DOOR SWITCH 3 times (eto yung switch na tinatamaan pag sinasarado ang pinto)
6. push odometer/trip switch 3 times sa gauge cluster
7. you should see DTC 00 displayed sa digital odometer
8. push odometer/trip switch many times until will you see DTC 12.
9. Speedometer should move to 220km/h!, after a moment the speedometer should move to about 60kmh
10. push odometer/trip switch again, you will see DTC 13.
11. Tachometer should move to 8000RPM!, after a moment the tach should move to about 3000RPM.

If your speedo or tach didnt move, replace the whole cluster.
Kung gumalaw naman maybe sensor ploblem ang culprit,

Now the speedo gets it reading from the ABS computer (GLXi model only).
Kung naka ON palagi ang ABS light mo, check the two front sensors malapit sa front CV joints.

If OK ang sensors replace the ABS computer. located above the fuse box sa drivers cabin, malamang nabaha din yan

nasa kapatid ko na kase yung car, yung abs nya ay nakailaw,paano ko machecheck if okey yung sensor,kailangan ko na ba bumili nun, do you have any idea kung paano nachecheck if okey pa yung sensor.
