To give you a background, I've been sending emails to Berjaya Customer Service complaining first with my CSR (which took me a week before I got it) then with my ORCR which I haven't got until now. My unit got released, July 25.

Today, I got out from bed with a call from the manager of my SA informing me that my SA is subject for termination. Apparently, they are blaming him for my complaints. I told him that my SA has got nothing to do with this and that if there's something wrong, it is the process that they should look into. I then sent an email to them so this will all be documented.

It is ridiculous how a misunderstanding may escalate this much.

Ano po ba yung CSR? Ano kaibahan nito sa OR/CR? Ang meron ako yung OR lang ng from Mazda Norh Edsa na binayaran ko yung unit (cash). Ito na ba yung CSR or iba pa? Got my unit last July 31.

    Grats Mowner brothers!
Dayummmm, your M2 has so much potential from all angles: looks, handling, performance & tune(now that Orange Virus has done the M3s w/ awesome linear results!).

Can't wait what you guys do with these....it all starts w/ that harmless horn upgrade & down the slopes you go.
    Enjoy your Mownership, guys!

LTO advices new owners to ask their dealers for copies of their: (1) Certificate of Stock Reported (CSR), (2) Sales Invoice, (3) Certificate of Insurance Cover, and (4) Philippine National Police Clearance, because these are the supporting documents needed to start the registration process. Without these supporting documents, the dealer could not have started the process yet.

What are the specs of the Mazda2 Speed? Aside from the leather seats. It's more expensive than the 1.5R sedan. So what does it offer more than the 1.5R?

Joke lang pero wary talaga ako sa mga "Speed", "Limited", "Special", etc. na nire-release ng local distributors.

Hypothetical conversation between an SA and a prospective buyer:

There is no TOTL 1.5R Mazda2 hatch variant so the Speed variant is the only choice if you want TOTL features for the Mazda2 hatch.

Seriously then, it would likely be the same as the R except in hatchback form and perhaps the addition of bodykits. Honestly though, Berjaya should not be using the "Speed" badge because people might mistake it to be the Mazdaspeed variant used in other countries.

So many comments but not one answering the question. I know and you know it's not Mazdaspeed and like I said, there is no other option to get a TOTL Mazda2 hatch features.

Nobody at the moment knows because Berjaya hasn't released the specs. All we can do is guess.

I believe the terms are sneaky and gullible.

From the posts above, most pinoys are smart.

You call some pinoys who make millions "gullible"? They are far from it...

Hopefully the majority will be smart enough to see through such ruses (then again there are the TRD Vioses and Mugen Citys). I really hope Berjaya will really put the "speed" on the Mz2 Speed (maybe put the higher compression 1.5 from the 3), at least a strut bar like the Ralliart Mirages and maybe adjustable shocks like the 323 Speed back in the 90s.

Who knows?....Mazda, so far, has surprised everyone! Was never into the badge, but it has sold me by the hobo-est of Sky variants. No sucker here obviously.:D
Sadly, the current speeds they have are all cosmetic....

I believe the forums do count for something. Potential buyers come here to listen & feel the chatter.....
But still, w/ the number of 'speeds' sold & roaming, it's obvious that many still fall to the lure of so-called TOTL. There is that undeniable draw towards bling, bragging rights & the saddest of all....CHROME. Fortunately, Mazda knew better to skip the chrome overload. Haha.
Best excuse? That 'Different strokes for diffrent folks' cliche, of course.:D
Me? Life has taught me happiness is a state of mind....Hoboism is my voted choice.:D

Nothing wrong with offering a TOTL model. What peeves me is when they start slapping slapping arbitrary badges, especially those evoking "go fast" marques and charging a premium despite the actual model having none of the actual "go fast" characteristics. Even the so-called premium Soul Red, my wife has PhD in chemistry and she wonders why it costs extra when its actually more expensive and harder to make black paint.

    *premium colors

    Exclusivity my friend

The more expensive the color is, the fewer cars with that color in the street. If you are the kind of guy that is willing to pay for exclusivity without any really benefit, then spending on colors is the way to go. Come to think of it though 20k is just 1.5% of 1.2M, not really really big. Personally though, id rather spend the 20k on other things
