Hi lexiedog. 7 working days talaga? So abot pa pala ng 15 since saturday un! Once i get my or/cr, i can already use it na without fears of getting caught? Sorry first car. Hehe
I popped up the hood and I didn't see any engine coolant inside the tank. Or am I looking at it incorrectly? I'll be visiting Alabang branch again this Saturday and I'll ask tips from people there. When I got my unit, I hurriedly took it home so I had only a couple of minutes to actually see it. I didn't even inspect it. :p
Thanks! Sir Louie, pano pala magconnect ng rear camera sa LCD screen ng M2? ☺
Ang sabi ni SA meron na daw CSR so I assumed I can already have it when I pick-up the car.![]()
Ok here's my mini-review of the 2. The one we have is the R sedan version so its got the paddles, HUD, HID, DRL, touch screen and leather trims. We broke it in for a trip to Subic last Monday and so far it drove well. Aircon is strong and cold, steering is on the light side, stiffens at speed but doesn't communicate well with the road. Driving dynamics is nice, easy to maneouver, but kind of sluggish in normal mode, up shifting at 2000-3000RPM. But move the switch to Sport and it becomes lively, with a noticeable change in engine note, stays in lower gear a tad longer and upshifting at 4000-5000RPM. Medyo puro straights pa lang natatakbuhan so not sure how it will handle twisties, but so far minimal body roll naman during turns. Suspension is a bit on the stiff maybe even sporty side.
Some niggles: Its a bit small for my old-folks, I guess nasanay sila sa mga compact cars like the Altis and the Civic, well even for me (my other ride is a Sorento). Also not a fan of the carbon fiber accents (every one knows its just stickers). Also no bottle holders/cubby hole for the rear passengers. And the horn, oh its really awful. Parang potpot ng magbobote. Will ask the SA if I can change it w/o affecting warranty. Tires are bit on the thin side too.
Oh average FC based on the trip computer is 9L/100km or about 11.1km/L at a mileage of less than 500km.
^What was your average speed for this trip?
What was your maximum speed?
Was the car fully loaded?

For the whole 500km mileage? Average speed was 20-25kph according to the computer. That probably includes the time it was driven in Friday night traffic from Taytay warehouse. Max speed was probably a burst of 130kph for a few seconds, but I kept a constant 100-110kph speedlimit. Passengers were 3 adults.
^that explains the low figure, the traffic at taytay
Your route to subic was NLEX, SCTEX & vice versa?
i think thats already a realistic figure. Now that we are back, the FC is going up. When we were on the SCTEX and NLEX the FC was 8.4L/100km or 11.9km/L.
Hello again! What docs should I expect from the dealer when I pay the downpayment? I cant get the car yet as it still has to be tinted. Thanks!
Sales receipt (pink or yellow colored document) and the comprehensive insurance policy.
Check your tire pressure. Vehicles straight out of the warehouse are usually overinflated for transporting.
No news yet regarding your OR/CR guys? Got the unit nung July 22 and until today wala pa rin. Medyo naiimpatient na ko :| Although technically wala pa naman 2 whole weeks...
Very minimal to almost negligible naman ang effect ng tire inflation pressure (unless flat talaga) sa FC. I usually keep my tires 1 psi lower than spec for ridng comfort. Also makaabot lang ako ng 10km/L sulit na for me, its a gas engine, I know it will never be as fuel efficient as a diesel (its physics, mas efficient talaga ang diesel).
my FC so far.. around 390km before it reach the half of my fuel tank. so far so good. Hehe I think mas e-efficient pa to after 1k maintenance sa casa.
