Saw also pics of the upcoming M2 sa facebook ng SA ko. Its a soul red hatch and silver sedan. Kung pagbabasehan ko yun hierarchy, TOTL ang hatch due to soul red color. Interior is almost the same with M3. Yun sedan, parang entry level ata and interior is same sa entry level M3 na available sa US. Most probably, sa MIAS ang labas ng mga ito.

Berjaya stated that they will not be bringing in the diesel variants any time soon. Masisira kasi skyactiv engine dahil sa dirty fuel natin.

A well-speced Mz2 1.3 priced competitively against the Vios E will bring back the sales that Mazda needs.

The advantage of Mazda against other players is that Ford did a good relaunch of the brand in the mid-2000s. Mazda still has higher brand equity than Kia, Chevrolet, or any of the smaller players. This is evident with the success of the CX-5, and more recently the Mz3.

Its brand image as upscale and sporty was further complimented by Berjaya's decision to offer free PMS to douse any doubts on Mazda's reliability.

Anung basis mo dito sir, sales po ba ng CX-5 vs Tucson/Sportage or Mz3 vs Elantra?

Yup. The Mz3 outsells the Cruze by a huge margin, and the CX-5 slightly exceeds Sportage sales despite the latter being much cheaper.

I was not referring to Hyundai as the brand has long been accepted by the PH market, being in the top 3 for several years now.

Now I am also wondering where did Hyundai came from. Hahah. Sorry for that.
I am guessing Berjaya will competitively price the Mz2. This new management is great.

On the sidelines of M2 unveiling are the upgraded CX-5 and M6. The 2016 MX-5, CX-9 and M6 fastback wagon will also be featured.

Hmm. . .who cares about the cars. . .I'll be there for the girls. . .

The next generation Toyota Yaris will be based on the new Mazda 2. The new Scion iA is exactly a Mazda 2.

There is this collaboration between Toyota and Mazda in using skyactive engines. I am already expecting the arrival of these new vios and yaris as they have reportedly started in Mexico.

now this looks promising. expecting this to be more expensive than the best selling vios but hopefully the price gap is near and still with Yojin3.
