Legit ung nagbbenta kaso binaha ung m3. Taga Marikina ung dating may-ari and insurance na ang nagbebenta. Be careful purchasing that car. Better buy sa berjaya since they are selling their test unit.

Inquired about this unit as well, friend daw is selling it, all good, but wanted another car. I inquired sa casa and it is indeed flooded.

On another note, I was surprised na nagtaas ng price ang 3 when I inquired again. A week before that it was just 940k+.

Exactly the same as the 2014 Mz3. No car manufacturer changes their car less than a year after being launched.

I think its HB3.

Naku bad trip yan. Gulat nga ako natatanggal pala yan. Nahigop kasi ng vacuum Casa. Or cut out a rubber mat to fit. I don't think it's readily available anywhere else.

Nawawala rin ung sakin! Rear driver side.

Sabihan kita / sabihan mo ko kapag nagtanong sa casa kung makakabili ng ganyan.

A friendly reminder to fellow tsikoteers with I-stop system. Apparently, Mazda sells the battery for 16K (?) but you can get it from Motolite for 5900 (1SM Excel) as reported by TopgearPH

Naturally, those who have already paid are beyond pissed for getting fleeced of 10K.

Accdg to the topgear article, this is a special battery developed for mazda kaya mahal. So this is just a regular 1SM battery?

According to one poster who allegedly deals Motolite battery, there's nothing special about it except the Mazda Sticker. People are waiting for Mazda to clear things up though.

Enhanced Flooded Batteries were developed for use in stop-start vehicles. The reduced cost of manufacturing EFBs is attractive for manufacturers in order to help keep overall new vehicle production costs down. The EFB design incorporates a porous fibre material, sometimes called "scrim", along with plates that are thicker than a conventional flooded battery. The use of low pressure contact material on the plates of EFBs retains the active material and improves their cycle performance which is necessary for stop-start applications. Examples of vehicles using an EFB include the Mazda CX-5, Subaru XV and the Ford Fiesta ECOnetic.

CMIIW: iStop checks the battery capacity among other parameters. If it isn't satisfied it will just stop working. Theoretically iStop owners CAN use ordinary batteries. The iStop specific battery just has a higher capacity and is more durable to support the more frequent starts.

I don't get why there's so much backlash against Mazda when it comes to the i-Stop battery. It's as if this kind of technology is entirely new. Ask and european car owner who has start-stop tech and they'll tell you that their cars also use special batteries.

As for the motolite developed batteries, if they were indeed "ordinary" and not specially developed for start-stop, then they wouldn't even last a week because of the abuse that the batteries take from the constant on and off of the engine.

Tsaka ito lang. Ginusto mo yun system, so you need to embrace all the necessary maintenance cost and consumables ng system na ito. So no big deal itong battery. Ang complain lang dito, why Motolite? Tsaka as per research, di lang Motolite ang merong ganitong battery. Yun lang, kung local market ang usapan, Motolite ang available agad.
