I was just informed by my SA that my unit will arrive from Japan on the 20th or so. So give or take a week or two for customs etc etc the waiting time for the car is over by a month din.

Natsambahan namin na may white sedan na available nung kinulit ni missis kung gaano katagal ang waiting time. Ang nangyari ang banko pa tuloy ang minamadali namin baka ibigay pa sa iba.

    It's worth the wait

They have a black and maybe a white, but my other car is white and my family hauler is black. Besides the black IMO really does mask the beauty of the car, IMO lang naman. So opted for the silver, not really in hurry thought (kunwari) lol

Where are you getting your unit, Mazda Pasig? If yes, sila din nag-inform sa akin na may paparating na Soul Red HB on the 20th. Pero yun preferred kong casa (Mazda Q. Ave), wala pang binibigay sa akin na info

Im from the visayas Sir, this seems to be a shipment from Japan where all dealers get their unit allocations. This got me thinking if nasa "planta" na daw on the 20th then it could already be here in Ph waiting for customs clearance etc.

I see. So I think yun sinabi sa akin ni Mazda Pasig is true.

Differences in lighting systems. Both front and rear. Bi-xenon with auto-leveling headlights. LED taillights in the 2.0R

Fuel economy in city traffic for both engine variants seem to end up identical. Of course w/ the 2.0 packing more horses & torque if that's what you're after. The 2.0 will need dealership ecu reset every time that pricey battery dies. The i-stop capacitor seems pretty reliable but there is no long term data yet. Like all parts, that will eventually go sooner or later, so be prepared. the engine, capacitor technology lights, leather, rims, tires, HUD would, of course, justify the 250k difference if you add them up individually & if you've the spare moolah to spend. The twin exhaust is just an extra tip & elbow connected to an identical exhaust system. No value difference there, just bling. No difference in suspension nor ride.
Bang for buck? the 1.5 is on a league of its own. Having the City priced higher makes this a pretty insane package. Way more car than what you'll be paying for.
On the other hand, the 2.0 seems to be priced correctly, outclassing any other in its segment.
Foreign reviews don't compare the gen3 M3 Sky to Civics & Altises anymore. They're now beating the crap out of the entry level euro big boys, Bimmers & Audis.
One really can't go wrong w/ whichever variant is chosen. Personally, I chose the 1.5 hatch purely for practical daily city driving reasons & my love for hatches as all of mine are buttless. I don't see the need for more horses w/ my use, I've another go-kart-like car dedicated for those long spirited weekend drives.
    Was this any help?

The biggest M3 design flaw is the front plate location. Nothing an AP+P no-drill plate holder can't correct.

The stock 18s are nice, but still would've been swapped for some 19s w/ proper offset a bit more flush to the fenders & a drop.....not as aggressive as this on bags, tho:

I prefer an OBD gauge over the HUD. Gives me more peace of mind knowing coolant/Intake Temps, charging voltage, diagnostics & error code clearing among its features.

Had a quoation with this company, 948k Mazda 3 1.5 HB

    1. With Acts of God/Nature 28,667.28
    2. Without. 23,939.03

    **6months to pay
    Deductible: Php 4,740.00

The above premium is lower than what Ive got at BPI/MS. BPI requires a banc assurance kaya wala akong nagawa.

If the premium fits your budget, let me know and i'll refer you to them. Or i can send to you the quotation i had with them last december. This is the lowest premium they can offer.

Sir heuer77 - that is a good quote you've got for your comprehensive insurance. Mine though is slightly higher but my deductible is only 2k.

*backpain 33k is a fair offer from the dealership. I guess i know the reason why mapfre is higher because most likely your deductible is only 2k.

the deductible works when you claim an insurance. Let's say you've had an accident (God forbid) and you need to make a claim to repair your ride, all you have to do is to pay 2k for your participation instead of the usual .5%. Take note though that it applies per claim.

ah is this also known as the participation fee? lets says you want to claim insurance and the participation fee for Mapfre is 2k while casa will be higher? tama ba?
