The catch is you have to get insurance from them for the next 3 years or so.

Thanks Heuer77, what variant of M3 did you get?
also the 5.13% per annum is very nice, better than what my bank quoted me for 5 years. what bank is it
You're right sir walter. Premium is reasonable naman and the insurer is reputable in the industry.
*warp3d - bpi/bpi family savings bank. Insurance promo ended last Dec 26 though. I also checked MBTC's rate and got a 5.4% per annum.
Mine's 1.5, that i can afford hehehe...
hi guys, off topic on dealership and financing. I just got meguiars polishing compound from monito. is it safe to apply to our new mz3, espcially soul red? also got ultimate quick wax. i received an advice to get meguiars paint cleaner as well (step1) but im planning not to buy it anymore and go straight to polishing compound then apply ultimate quick wax. also aside from meguiars can u rcommend other brands? thanks!
Aside from Meguiars, ok yung Turtle Wax Dash & Glass. No greasy feeling and no smell. Safe din siya sa tech screen and UV protected pa kaya no need to worry unlike other interior cleaners na delikado pag nalagyan ang tech screen or infotainment like sa mz3.
If you have money to spend for dp.. I recommend going with bank financing.
Thanks sir. According to this agent this low DP scheme is for BPI only. I'm just curious as to whether this is a good deal or not? I'm from Tuguegarao city and the closest Mazda dealership to my place is Cabanatuan city (about 6-8 hour drive). The last time i visited a Mazda dealership was last May and the downpayment at that time was about 280k for the 2.0. I plan to get a new car this March and the 2.0 variant is in the top of my list (hopefully i could convince my wife more).

ask what is the annual interest of their in house financing + free LTO, free Insurance, free chattel
vs
ask Metrobank/BPI directly
don't be fooled by the DP scheme of dealerships.
the less DP you give, the bigger interest you pay
same here chiezee... im also a first time buyer of brand new car. so im also learning everything first before I make those downpayments.
btw Metrobank gave me somewhere around 5.4ish% annual interest. I think BPI have the same but definitely not the same as in-house financing. so you'll notice the dealers are pushing you more with their in-house financing than cash payment coz they will earn more ;)
BTW guys for the 2.0R users. Have you heard of the I-Eloop issue recalls couple of months ago which mazda recalled 88,000 units all over the globe?
Did anyone so far had problems with the I-eloop or I-stop for their m3/m6?
may not be applicable to Philippines since Berjaya tayo but just for info. Since this is now my top 1 choice this feb. I need to know everything and anything ab

Mazda recalls 88,000 vehicles fitted with i-ELOOP
April 4, 2014 11:31 CET
TOKYO (Reuters) -- Mazda Motor Corp. will recall about 88,000 vehicles globally to fix a programming glitch in its engine control computer.
Of the 88,000 vehicles, around 38,000 will be recalled in Europe, 27,600 in Japan and 6,500 in North America, Mazda said.
The Japanese automaker is recalling the Mazda3, Mazda6 and CX-5 models manufactured between October 2012 and January 2014, spokeswoman Misato Kobayashi added.
Mazda found a glitch in the computer program that checks whether the capacitor, a part of the brake energy regeneration system, is functioning properly, Mazda said.
As a result, the vehicle may not accelerate properly and in the worst case the engine could stall.
This is a safety feature for the I-eloop owners. So for those who still know. It is worth a look for your safety as well.
Also I asked Mazda Philippines about the Q85 Battery for the systems with I-Eloop and yes confirmed it will cost around P15,000 -P20,000
There is available Motolite Battery worth around 5k but this will disable the I-eloop/ istop/istart feature which is not adviseable (of course)
Another is the Capacitor ( if and when it breaks ) hindi pa nireveal saken ni mazda and presyo nito but upon research sa US market.
If the Q85 Battery costs 460USD(mazda)
the capacitor is around 650USD(mazda)
so if nasa 15-20k ang battery na Q85 mazda orig which you will normally change 3-4years maybe( after yohin3)
and if the capacitor breaks or needs to be replaced in case lang of when it gets damaged thru collision as it is situated on the left fender maybe cost pshhh around maybe 30k? So I guess the 2.0 users need to know this too and confirm.
Kaya I am still undecided if I go 2.0 or 1.5. city driving lang naman ako work office work office.
Out of town maybe 3 x a year?
Got myself suckered before on my 1st car purchase, got to know only of the exorbitant interest rate after the fact. Was so blinded by the car and all the glowing things the SA said. Thats the trouble sometimes when banks have tie ups with dealers especially on their low DP all in thingy. Oh well charge to experience. Lol.
*warp3d - my unit came from Quezon Ave dealership and i guess the owner of QA and Pasig is the same. I can refer you to my agent who facilitated my unit. He's very accomodating (ganun naman ata lahat ng SAs hahahaha); that is if you want. Also, mahigpit talaga sila sa mga freebies.
I never scouted any dealership and no knowledge kung may BAD reputation ang napuntahan ko but it turns out well, im lucky maybe.
With regards to financing, kaya madali akong na-approve (1 day lang) it is because may kilala mismo ako sa auto loan dept. Dati ang default rate na bigay sa akin was 26.5% for 5 years Arrears mode. Mas mababa ng kaunti pag OMA.
