Cash buyers aren't generally given huge discounts or lots of freebies because SA's don't earn as much from them compared to those who get financing. I think it's possible to give 90% DP then get the remaining 10% financed for you to get a 1.5V. Or save up a bit more in order to afford a 1.5V. I've no experience with the previous generation but I would imagine that Skyactiv would be a world of difference.
For 100k more you'd be getting Skyactiv technology, infotainment system, mags, etc, etc, etc.
My suggestion is to go with Skyactiv V as you will certainly use the car for years. (and more importantly iwas regrets)![]()
Thank you for all your suggestions. I'm really wanting the Mz3 Skyactiv V ever since I laid eyes on it since it was launched back in 2014. It's just the prospect of a sub 900k mazda 3 that lured me to the maxx.
Maybe if the maxx went sub 800k, I'd go get it but I'm pretty sure that won't happen.
I'll try to maybe workout a financing deal of 90% DP + 10% Financing as suggested.
If it doesn't work out I'll try to maybe get a relatively new and mint condition second hand one that's still under Yojin3.
Wish me luck.
Actually, the MZ3 Maxx is not considered a true Skyactiv Mazda 3. It may have the body of the current generation but it lacks the key components of the Skyactiv technology (engine, tranny). I rather get a MZ2 or a 1.5V MZ3. Mind you, mas sulit ang Skyactiv MZ3 compared to getting a Maxx variant.
Congrats sir! To answer your question, no. Yan ang unang unang modification na dapat mong gawin.![]()
I agree and I'm well aware of the disadvantages of getting just the maxx variant. I really really want the 1.5V (or R) variant but as I mentioned, I'm constrained by my budget which I cannot stretch anymore, and I'm hesitant to go into financing.
I really liked the Mz2 but as I mentioned on my prior post I'd really prefer a bigger car and I don't mind the older engine or the FC as long as it's reliable and the MZR is. I agree na mas sulit in the long run ang Skyactiv Mz3 but I'm not sure if I could find another sub 850k compact sedan that's of this quality and look since the Mitsubishi Lancer EX GLX is no more and I'm really not into the Corolla Altis E. I really don't want to go into the subcompact or city car category.
Hypothetical question:
Down the line, maybe 3 to 5 years from now and I'm due for an engine overhaul, would it be feasible to swap the MZR with a Skyactiv Engine and Tranny or whatever Mazda cooks up by that time?
To those who are on tein h tech, how do you adjust rear negative camber in order to conform to or be close to OE specs?
3 to 5yrs, overhaul? Nah. Well cared cars can last decades. Proper periodic maintenance is key.
If that time should come, I won't go transplants. They're more complex than they seem & molestation drives the car's already low value then even lower.
The MZR-mated Maxx isn't a bad car at all. Same gen3 look, bigger than an M2....plus... You can definitely make it look as classy as a 2.0 w/o spending much.
If I were to choose after having been spoiled by my hobo 1.5? I won't think, nor blink twice...hands down, a 1.5 thoroughbred Sky. Then again, you haven't been where the Mowb3rship journey has taken me.
On the other hand, wants & needs vary from 1 to another. The forums can give you all sorts of info on favored options out there....but beyond everything, the bottom line should be your HAPPINESS. Should you choose the Maxx, you won't be less a Mown3r than any of us & would be most welcome to be our brothah here.
Discern, pray....& go be a Mown3r.
Keep us posted!![]()
Of course I won't be overhauling or replacing anything by that time.I know the MZR engine can last a long time when taken good care of. I'm merely asking hypothetically.
I'd rather get whichever the best value car is by that time and if it happens to be a Mazda then I'll most likely go get it. And since mazda just introduced the Skyactiv-D engines with the Mazda 6 and CX-5, I'm really hoping it would cascade down to the M2 and M3. That would probably be my next car after this.
But yeah, right now I'm leaning towards the Maxx. I don't see anything new or coming up that would offer a better value. If anything I'd be getting a tried and tested engine on an awesome looking body for cheap. I'll just go for a trip to Banawe a few months or so after getting it to spruce it up a bit.
Guys, umilaw yung wrench indicator sign sa dashboard, my first PMS was 3rd week of december 2015. Due na ba talaga ang pms? 10,000km or 6months di ba? My current ODO is 2,100km.

a little help masters, especially the techy ones..
sino na po naka try mginstall nung AIO (all-in-one) tweak update sa infotainment naten. Please patulong po sa step by step procedure. Already downloaded the AIO tweak files, pero hindi ko alam kung ano i-ppaste sa USB for automatic installation.
Im on ver56.00.100A
thanks!
format first the usb drive to fat32, pwede to gawin sa windows via windows explorer
then extract the downloaded zip files. then copy all contents to the usb drive. don't use sub folder just copy all files to the formatted usb drive.
plug it on the car before mag start yung infotainment, na try ko na sa ver5600.100A
wait for about two minutes until a prompt saying na tapos na ang pag ttweak then just press ok on the prompt. after that mag rereset yung infotainment.
I did change the theme color to blue, add the date status bar, change the background image and do the common tweak which includes usage of touchscreen even while driving (should be strictly for passengers only para iwas aksidente) all of this was done one at a time per tweak.

p.s. as always walang assurance. just like what bro testa says all the time. "lakasan lang ng loob" goodluck
