    Yup, Mazda Q85 is special.
    -Recognized Substitutes:
    Motolite 1SMF/NS50ZZL/D23L
    AC DELCO: SQ85D23LEFB
    -Cost: Php15-25ish K
    -Life is dependent on usage.
-Reasons why a specific battery for i-stop system is necessary
 When a vehicle equipped with i-stop system stops at a red light, engine is stopped for fuel
economy improvement. When the vehicle starts to drive again, the engine restarts. So, battery discharging and charging are repeated in a short period of time.
 Also, during i-stop operation, as electric power for air conditioning and audio systems etc. is supplied from the battery only, discharging occurs more than on vehicles without i-stop
    system.
 If a battery other than the specifically designed for i-stop is used instead, its lifecycle may be reduced or it may disable i-stop function.

-Lowdown on differences between Q85 & regular batt:
It has improved durability/charging acceptability. In order to achieve these performances, it
    has the following features.
    ① More durability
    (1) With the use of narrow grid, holding capacity of active material is raised to prevent active material from becoming softened and dropping.
    (2) Charging ability is improved by reducing sulfation due to discharging.
※Sulfation :At this condition, battery cannot be reduced to lead and sulfuric acid even after charging because lead sulfate, which is generated during battery discharging, causes coarsening in the recrystallization process.
Recrystallization progresses gradually. So, by keeping the discharging condition (with more lead sulfate included) for a long time, sulfation occurs, which lowers battery capacity or charging ability.

    ② More charging ability
    (1) Additive included in lead of battery plate
    is optimized to increase charging
    performance.
    (2) Reaction area is increased by having
more battery plates to improve charging
    performance.
On the other hand, though charging acceptability has increased with more battery plates, dendrite short is more likely to occur due to smaller gap between battery plates!
※Dendrite short: If sulfuric acid concentration in the electrolyte solution decreases battery is exhaustively discharged. At that time, lead ion dissolves from lead sulfate. If
the battery is charged under such condition, lead ion grows and becomes like a shape of a needle on the (-) battery plate surface, which is called dendrite.

Why Shell Fuel Save? Technically, SkyActiv is not your regular direct injection engine. This is a hi-comp engine that runs on regular unleaded w/o the dreaded knock. To ensure smooth long running service, efficiency & yojin warranty retention, it's ideal to stick w/ what Mazda has endorsed. After all, going above the required octane won't add gains nor benefits, only cost.
Skeptics will always have their conspiracy theories about this....but to be safe & to make sure of yojin warranty, I'd rather submit & stay w/ the recommended.

Direct injection engines are known to be prone to fuel system, combustion chamber, intake & valve carbon deposits. Eventually, these engines will need walnut media blasting. However, there are fuel system cleaning additives out there that techs & enthusiasts swear by....Seafoam, Techron & BG44 are some of the better known fuel system cleaners. I'm hoping Mazda PH carries this fuel system cleaning additive that's being sold in Jp, Sg & other markets.....

    Details:
Deposit Cleaner is an engine combustion chamber cleaner for non-rotary petrol only. Added into the fuel tank to prevent deposits on fuel injector nozzles, intake valves, plugs & combustion chamber.

NOW THE CHALLENGING PART...I badly need Mandingo Samurai brothah Marcyaptinchay to untangle & decipher this Nippon-English slang for everyone's comprehension...haha...:D
    I hope no1 gets lost in translation...haha.

    HERE GOES.....
"One of the travel distance is short customers , original customers should be maintaining the fuel economy performance , customer Irassharu riding a direct-injection engine vehicle - long carefully-used want your own car , has been lost recently the power of the car / engine Customers of consuming bad / idling and Irassharu feel bad unstable / accelerator response

    How to Use:

It recommends the injection of one roll from the filler opening at the time of full tank. Use of every 10,000km is effective.

    FAQs:

    Q1. Usage?

A1. Please add one at the time of gasoline fill up (200ml).

Q2. Rotary engine, can you use the direct injection engine?

A2. Rotary engine can not be used for combustion form is singular. The direct-injection engine is available. Because they are direct fuel injection into the combustion chamber you can expect clean effect.

Q3. Can I use in gasoline is small state?

A3. no problem. However, deposit in time becomes shorter cleaning agent is in contact, because there is a case where the expected effect can not be obtained, after injection it is recommended rapid full tank refueling.

Q4. What is effective in the car?

A4. Since the deposit will be difficult to remove when you adhere once, it is recommended that the regular use from the new car until the old your car. Especially your car because if the old I think are fixed considerable dirt inside the engine, it is recommended twice or more continuous use.

Is it safe to put faster than every Q5.10,000km?

It is designed so that it is possible to maintain the engine original performance with the use of each.10,000km but, for example, while if you use it even more than the cleaning effect in every 5,000km, is keep clean effect that with less dirt you can expect."

    Comprende, Amigos????
    Enjoy your weekend, guys.....
I will enjoy mine courtesy of Hot Hatch.:D😉

Or old school manual cleaning. Easy but tedious......However, walnut blasting maybe inevitable for all direct injection heads of any make.....those w/ turbos will be worse, sadly.
But to many, placebos do help. Hehe.

Not all truths remain true, sadly. Direct injection can't clean valves anymore.... & our cars are way too electronic for such.
