Guys,

I have confirmed my order of M3 and have started giving instructions to my agent like to not put holes on the plate holder (will get Santi's plate relocator) and my preference for the coding day. To my surprise, the agent told me that LTO doesnt allow selection of plate's ending number anymore. Is this true? We always got the coding day we wanted on our older cars. It would be useless to get a new one with the same coding day.

Here's what you can do...

Pwede mo i-request ang preferred conduction sticker ending number. Yun sa plate holder naman, usually naka-double sided tape lang yan. Sa harap, walang butas yan. Sa likod lang ang may butas.

Sa plates naman, pagdasal mo na yun gusto mong ending ang makuha mo. Sa akin kasi, sabi ko lang sa ahente ko na yun dalawang sasakyan namin ay 9 at 0 ang ending, so pareho ng coding day. At dahil random na nga yan, eh come what may nalang. Ayun, nung nakuha ko plates ko, 6 ang ending, which is my preferred coding day. Pero oofferan ka nila ng preferred ending number mo for a price, which is considered under the table. Kung ako sa iyo, better not. May nabasa ako dito na kung ayaw mo ng ganitong ending, say parehong Friday coding, pwede ka daw mag-request sa LTO mismo. Dala ka lang ng OR/CR ng isa mong sasakyan. Ewan ko lang kung pwede pa ba ang ganito ngayon.

I know sir travs.. ughh I really want this badly. My SA said he will try his best to look a unit for me. Sabi ko kahit anong color or body na basta M3, hopefully car gods answer my prayers

Gaya ng sabi ko sir, kung ano ang nasa puso mo, sundin mo. If white, then stick to white, para wala kang regrets sa huli. But then, Mz3 is Mz3, ***y in and out, in any color, in any form!

Finally got my M3 earlier! So happy! I named him Treize (from Gundam Wing) pero boo ang pangit ng horn. Mavovoid ba warranty if I change the horn? Parang isesecond on the list ko ito sa modifications

Inquire ka sa casa para sure ka sa antena.

Di naman mavovoid ang warranty mo pag nagpalit ka ng busina dahil reversible naman ito, meaning pwede mo ibalik yun luma. Ano magandang busina, Europa!!!

Thank you for the inputs sir! Sige tanong po ako sa casa. Yung sa OEM rims lang kasi natanong ko last time. Sabi ng SA dun sa Greenhills, di daw sila nagbebenta ng rims. Though okay din naman ako sa non-OEM rims. Must pair my Treize with matte black shoes . I wonder if the casa have other accessories though.

does the dealer apply for the plate even before someone buys the unit? if yes then i'll just tell the agent that im willing to wait for an available wednesday coding M3. we already have a mon, tues, and, thurs so pity for the other car that will have the same coding - i wont get to drive it ever again :sweat:

Nope, only when the unit is bought will the papers be sent to LTO for registration. Problema kasi baka mag-simula na naman manghuli ang LTO ng mga walang plaka like they did earlier this year. Hassle.

I suggest wag ka sa casa bumili ng accessories. Mahal sa casa talaga ang accessories. Doon ka nalang sa Banawe o tingin tingin online. Other suggestion ko sa busina eh Mitsuba Arena II or better, get a Mitsuba Dolce :naughty2: hahaha! Yun nga lang, mas mahal na sila kesa sa Europa. Ang isa pang con ng Europa eh sobrang dami na gumagamit nito dahil nga sa ganda ng tunog niya.

Don't worry, di daw sila manghuhuli na muna ng walang plates. Ang kelangan lang naman kasi, registered na sa LTO yun sasakyan. Basta may OR/CR ka na, good to go ka na. Tsaka naka-freeze ang plate modernization program nila so ayun, mga bwisit talaga mga yan...

dropped by the dealership today and the agent who was present there told me that their "office" can actually arrange my preferred plate ending for only 5k (as opposed to 15k for both letters and numbers). this means that the LTO process/system is not "random and automated" at all. the new policy is just a clever way for them to get more under-the-table money from the motorists. SMH.

Random in a sense kung dadaanin lahat sa legal, pero hindi random pag may padulas. Di ba, sadyang corrupt lang ang ating society. Pero mahal ang 5k ah, 3k ata yun offer sa akin dati eh pero di ko pa rin kinagat. Sabi ko lang, bahala na kung anong plaka dumating basta wag 9 at 0, at kung pwede wag 1 at 2. I asked the dealer if it were possible to select the ending plate number but was told that the dealership just recently forbid facilitating "under the table" deals. The no "under the table" policy probably varies across dealerships since I asked an agent of a different car manufacturer and he told me that it is still possible to select ending numbers for a fee and I am not referring to the special plate numbers. Looks like we are in the same boat.

Haha don't worry I've done my research. Well ofcourse.. you guys mostly feed me with information that I need to know about M3... I was actually been offered both the maxx and the 2.0 variant a month earlier.. with the latter declined coz of the tight budget

Next week darating na yung batch ng Speed. Got a message from my SA na may Red and Gray and unfortunately yung Red matagal na may naka-reserve. So sakin mapupunta yung Meteor Gray. Actually 1st choice ko talaga gray kaso nagandahan ako sa red kaya red sana kukunin ko. What do you guys think?

Sales invoice is good for 7days only.. ano solution ni dealer or agent.. issue ng maraming sales invoice kada linggo. Hehe. Pero may mga nahuli narin sa ganyan. Kaya ingat narin. Alam na ng mga nang huhuli yan.

After naman makuha ang orcr dapat within 30days ata dapat may plate na. Pero dahil tigil ang release ng plate or walang plate, Dapat ata mag request kay agent or dealer ng orcr na may note na no plate available para sure na walang problem.
