Dear M3 owners,

Questions sana.

Nasa waiting list ako ng Soul Red Speed kaya sobrang excited. Medyo nakakainip so while waiting I would like to probably buy accessories and get information about the unit. Over 500 pages na yung thread and nagbabackread ako kaya lang nasa 30+ pages palang ako. May questions sana ako sa mga owners ng current M3.

1. If I'm to buy relocation plates, hindi ba ko sisitahin ng LTO for altering the license plate location? Balak ko sanang relocation plate is yung kinakabit sa tow hook.
2. If hindi magiging problema sa LTO, saan kaya ako pwede kumuha nito locally? There are some that can be bought online however I prefer buying locally sana.
3. If I would put spacers sa gulong ng M3, would that void the Yojin 3 feature?
4. I've read that the DVD playback sa screen would not work when the vehicle is moving for safety but is there anywhere to override this? I mean di ko naman gusto manuod ako habang nagdadrive but of course yung passengers ko would love it specially on long drives.
5. Is there a separate A/C vent para sa rear passengers? I have not actually been inside the Speed or 2.0R variant kasi walang unit sa showroom when I reserved my unit so I'd like to confirm kung meron.
6. Does the tonneau cover come standard or will I buy it separately? Honda sucks at offering free accessories so my Jazz never had this when I purchased it back in 2010. I'd like to know if the cover is given as standard.
7. Does this come with durable floor mats or should I purchase after market ones because the standard mats it comes with are cheaply made?
8. Can I opt to have my tint done else where and get other freebies instead? I like V-kool tints better than 3M.
9. Are the dome lights and map lights already using led? If not, will aftermarket LED replacement bulbs void any warranty?
10. I saw an aftermarket rear camera being sold online. Would that work with the infotainment system and does it require rewiring?
11. I've been reading na meron Nav feature yung M3. Meron ba or wala. According to some early reviews kasi meron, sabi naman ng iba wala.
12. Does the roof of the Soul Red Speed come in black? I like how sir travajante's M3 looks.

Thanks in advance for answering. I'm really excited to get the unit but the wait time is killing me. 4th on the line pero sabi ng SA ko meron na daw Speed kaso Silver. Gusto ko talaga Soul Red kaya tinurn down ko.

1.LTO doesn't dictate carmakers on exact location of plates. They only require them to be uncovered, visible, &, at least, w/ the new LTO bolts, difficult to remove & steal. The relocator simply makes the M3 as pretty as the M6 & it's designed to take the LTO bolts:



Tow hook installed plates won't be LTO compliant as they would be easily removed/stolen just by twisting. CorkSport has them or you'd have to custom fab 1.
2. In case you wanna order the M6 spec plate relocator, please email satravajante*gmail.com.
3. Dealership ignorance is your bliss. You can always remove accessories that might be Yojin sensitive prior to PMS. I always opt for reversible mods.... warranty & resale purposes.
4. Our brothah testament11 might shed better light on the DVD tweak.
5. No rear AC vent in our hobos, dunno w/ speed.
6. Hatch cover is standard. Mazda is no cheapskate like Honda.
7. Oh, the mats are OE excellent...so good you'd wanna protect em w/ Louie Anson Ng's floorliners.
8. Dealership/deal-dependent.
9. You may swap LEDs into those map lights.
10. Don't experiment w rear cams...Seek Louie Anson Ng for plug & play rear cam.
11.Don't expect NAV...let's allow Mazda to surprise us...someday.
12. Nope, just wrap it w/ 3M 1080 gloss black vinyl....you might've mistaken a brothah's M3 w/ wrapped roof, sir. Mine's just bare.
13. No standard period sadly. Just keep knocking the dealership's door.

Oh, go to page346 & check your modlist, aLbEe sir. We know that wait is agonizing & eternity looooong...it's all worth it, worry not!!!!

Thanks for the clear answers Sir Travs. Very informative. Thinking about it, I think I'm liking your relocated plates better than the CorkSports one. Kung titignan mo pala mukhang Lancer pag nakalagay sa towhook hehe.

AnytiM3, aLbEe sir. Wait for others to chime in on the DVD & others.
Some like the offset towhook location...if you've a way to weld it or convince LTO that its theft-proof, might work....but our plates are huge & would look awkward offcenter.
Page 346 will help you bear the wait.😁

Any idea kung saan yung abang para sa rear camera for sedan? I saw there are spare wires. Baka may nakakaalam. May parating kasi ako OEM camera from Mazda USA. Planning to DIY nalang. Thanks!

Nice one. Kay Sir Louie din ako magpapakabit once I receive my unit. Question naman, will the parking sensor still work considering na may reverse camera na sya? WIll there be an indicator sa ITC or alarm lang maririnig mo? Lastly, according to Sir Louie plug and play sya--is it really true or may minimal splicing/harnessing ng wires? (Takot lang kasi mavoid yung warranty ng electrical)

The parking sensor will still work pero walang indicator on screen. Actually nakalimutan ko na anong nakadisplay sa screen if you reverse pero walang camera

Plug and play yan. Louie and his crew can hook you up in less than 30 mins.
