Dang!! How I wish our streets are not full of potholes and humps. Even on stock height, the 3 Speeds are very low already!

Here's a good guide for bolt size/grade/torque:

At least Grade 8 (or 12.9 in metric) for high-clamping load applications, such as connecting rods, cylinder heads and main caps, flywheel bolts, clutch cover bolts, etc. No threaded fastener below Grade 5 (or 8.8 metric) for any automotive application, regardless of the area of use. Always follow the vehicle or aftermarket component maker’s recommendation for torque specs.

Ofcourse, next in line are the plate relocator, reverse camera and leather seats.

OT: I'm wondering if the oil change interval is really good for our engines. I know they're designed by great Mazda engineers but is 10k km too long for the first oil-change? I'm doing a little bit of hard break-in method and I'm worried metal flakes will enjoy staying inside the engine until the first oil-change. Hehe. Anyone also doing some spirited runs before 1k km?

Factors * play here:
-unsprung rotational weight difference
-outer diameter difference will have an effect on odometer
- tire type & width(contact area). Eco/low friction tires will give better numbers.
-air pressure.

Unless you run near or more than 10k every 6mos, I won't be worried. Post yojin, you can always opt for the usual 5k interval. Just follow recommended break in.

You're right. It's 6months or 10k km, whichever comes first. I'm sure I won't reach 10k km after 6mos anyway.

Dear M3 owners,

Questions sana.

Nasa waiting list ako ng Soul Red Speed kaya sobrang excited. Medyo nakakainip so while waiting I would like to probably buy accessories and get information about the unit. Over 500 pages na yung thread and nagbabackread ako kaya lang nasa 30+ pages palang ako. May questions sana ako sa mga owners ng current M3.

1. If I'm to buy relocation plates, hindi ba ko sisitahin ng LTO for altering the license plate location? Balak ko sanang relocation plate is yung kinakabit sa tow hook.
2. If hindi magiging problema sa LTO, saan kaya ako pwede kumuha nito locally? There are some that can be bought online however I prefer buying locally sana.
3. If I would put spacers sa gulong ng M3, would that void the Yojin 3 feature?
4. I've read that the DVD playback sa screen would not work when the vehicle is moving for safety but is there anywhere to override this? I mean di ko naman gusto manuod ako habang nagdadrive but of course yung passengers ko would love it specially on long drives.
5. Is there a separate A/C vent para sa rear passengers? I have not actually been inside the Speed or 2.0R variant kasi walang unit sa showroom when I reserved my unit so I'd like to confirm kung meron.
6. Does the tonneau cover come standard or will I buy it separately? Honda sucks at offering free accessories so my Jazz never had this when I purchased it back in 2010. I'd like to know if the cover is given as standard.
7. Does this come with durable floor mats or should I purchase after market ones because the standard mats it comes with are cheaply made?
8. Can I opt to have my tint done else where and get other freebies instead? I like V-kool tints better than 3M.
9. Are the dome lights and map lights already using led? If not, will aftermarket LED replacement bulbs void any warranty?
10. I saw an aftermarket rear camera being sold online. Would that work with the infotainment system and does it require rewiring?

- Brah travs said it. Like him, mas gusto ko na nasa baba ang plates kesa sa tow hook. Mazdang Mazda tignan at hindi Evo X wannabe.

- Kung susundin mo ang suggestion ko, email travs for more info

- Sabi, kung magkaroon ng problema dahil sa modifications, then Yojin 3 will be voided. Pero why put spacers? Going stance ba?

- There is though for higher versions, di pa ako sure. Meron akong na-download na files para dito pero di ko pa nasusubukan kung paano ang gagawin

- None, pero meron sa baba ng front seats. Pero kung overhead vents, wala

- Buy it separately nalang unless mabibigyan ka ng SA mo

- Di naman chipipay ang standard mats na kasama, pero parang carpet lang ito. I suggest you get a deep dish mat para mas maganda tignan

- Yes pwede naman. Ganito ginawa ko sa akin. Sabi ko kasi sa SA ko, ayaw ko ng tint. Kung pwede nalang, bigyan nalang niya ako ng isang full tank na gas. Wala naman akong hiningi na freebies kundi isang full tank lang

9. Are the dome lights and map lights already using led? If not, will aftermarket LED replacement bulbs void any warranty?
- No, ordinary bulbs pa rin ang gamit. Gaya ng sabi ko sa concern mo sa spacers, pwedeng ma-void once na magkaproblema yan due to modifications.

- Yes. Louie Anson installs one. Siya rin ang nagkabit ng rear camera ko

- By default, meron talaga, pero kelangan mo ng memory card na galing mismo sa Mazda para mapagana ito. Unfortunately, mukhang hindi daw updated ang maps na ginagamit ng Mazda for PH use.

- No. Have it foiled nalang outside

- Wag kang mag-worry. Ako, nag-antay ako ng 1 buwan para sa pagdating ng unit ko. That time kasi, inooffer sa akin ay Pearl White, which is my 2nd choice. Kaso talagang first choice ko ang Soul Red kaya nag-antay talaga ako. Ganito, kung 4th ka sa pila, try mo magtanong sa ibang casa. Ako kasi nung una, dead set akong kumuha sa Mazda Q. Ave. Pero sabi sa akin, 3rd in line ako sa Soul Red Speed o 2.0R hatch. Eh ginawa ko, lahat ng casa sa Manila eh tinawagan ko. Mazda Pasig lang ang nagsabi sa akin na first in line ako sa dadating nilang Soul Red Speed o hatch. Original target ko eh 2.0R hatch lang pero Soul Red, pero lakas makakumbinsi ng gf ko na Speed na ang kunin ko dahil sa Bose sound system at in the long run eh halos ganun din siguro magagastos ko. So ayun, change of plan agad, Speed variant na ang pinalista ko.
